just looking for some advice on getting out of bronze.

my main role(pref) is adc which i dont necessarily like the best but is something ive been stuck with enough to be confident in my ability.

specifically im looking to keep the peace/morale up. when we start with a disadvantage in skill or champ select guys usually give up. i admit ive done it a bit after imt burn out but i dont flame the chat. what would you do in that situation

{shaco jung 1-5-2 (3 deaths to enemy adc) me-twitch 0-3-1 im being flamed.} i could mute but hed still not perform to his full potential ? any help

(and anything about my score is not the focus of discussion. im psychic in that way)

Ok, first tip. Dont even look at you're own teams scores, you don't decide how well they do, unless you refuse to flat out help them. They either do well or outmatched. All you can control is you're own play. Mute toxic teammates and drive on. Be selfish, play to get yourself fed, because its soloqueue and being mr good guy doesnt win games. Farm farm farm, ward ward ward, buy at least 1 pink a game, farm some more, if you dont have more farm than the enemy dont think about fighting them if you are both 100% hp. If they are super low and outfarm you it may warrant a consideration. Play any role, not just adc. learn at least one champ every role and fill. DONT CALL ROLE, just fill. Dont speak in chat unless its about the game, no whining or complaining, dont even give advice until after the game. This should be a good start, but im going to add one more super secret trick, just because at one point I was bronze 5 and carried myself all the way out.....Yess even carried as support some games..........FOCUS OBJECTIVES AND TOWERS, you cant make you're team, but you can guide them to objectives. Towers are the point of the game not kills, so NEVER EVER surrender. I almost just won a 3v5 where 2 of my teammates rage quit at each other pre min 10. The other two players followed my calls because i got fed, just so happens the game made it 45 mins and we hardly lost. Like nexus to nexus race. Enough about me though. Focus Objectives is the best tip I have.

If they're flaming you specifically for losing lane, you can sometimes just be apologetic and say that your team can still win, but sometimes it's better not to say anything at all. My reaction when something goes horribly wrong is often to immediately say 'my bad' even if it wasn't my fault. I don't care if I'm blamed for something or not, I just don't want people to flip out over it and make the game unwinnable. If someone flaming you is going to affect your play, mute them instantly and try to ignore it. The chance of someone who's ranting at his team saying anything useful is virtually nonexistent, and you can still see their pings.

  1. Get good enough at ADC role to have 70 cs by 10 minutes.
  2. Learn proper lane control(dont auto attack when jungler is on your side of the map, bully the enemy when their jungler is away. (Caitlyn, Misfortune, Graves, Jinx)
  3. As long as you haven't let the game slip to far, you can no matter how rage a team in my experience get them to rally for at least one team fight. During this time shot call, position well, and focus down the carries, usually mid and enemy ad.
  4. If you win a team fight and close the gold gap, be mindful of the spawn timers, Riot nerfed the timer length hard in season 4, so just because you won a fight doesn't mean go all out push then get counter aced. You just wasted your chance to catch up and threw the game. ( The reason I say this is because, more than likely everyone or even a few got a kill or a killing spree, reset all gold drops and the chances of recovering again are slim to none).
  5. Once the gold gap is closes continue to shot call. Go win

I started the game in season 3 and I placed bronze 5, I quickly learned that the only way out is to: A: ADC bully the lane and snowball. B: Jungle and help the lane that is most countered. Or least skilled. (This does NOT mean help the lanes and take the kills. In my experience the best junglers are the ones with 5 assists over 5 kills. C: Chose a Mid champion, get very good with it, and learn to either get first blood or shove them out of lane and roam. This worked for me for a long time, I played Lux, Brand, and Fizz. Roaming is the best way to ensure each lane wins.

This link right here. My friend encouraged me to get out of Bronze when I followed these. Also, practice, practice, practice! When you want to have fun in normals, practice your role, see what you can and can't do. See who counters you, and who doesn't.
