When To Go In?

Hi guys!

So I am only a level 21 and I currently main Riven. I love playing as her, but I never know when to play passively or aggressively or when to go in. When I play with friends or strangers, I either play to aggressively and run in, guns blazing, hoping that the team will back me up and that I don't die or I will not jump in and everyone will get mad and say i don't know how go in. Any advice? Also, post any Youtube channels/videos that teach how to become a good riven player. Thanks!

I'm not sure if there is a way to tell you how to know when to go in just do it whever the teamfight seems facorable for your team and your team will probally follow but I think thats more of an expeience thing the us telling how to know that p.s Riven voice is so hot

Remember to use your E effectively. You can use it to escape a bad situation if you save it or to enter a fight if you know you can get the kill. If you don't know 100% you can get the kill save your E for an escape. Always use W immediately after engaging champs, stuns are everything. Also I would have Flash as one of my skills to double up on escapes. Lastly remember if your R is up you can get champs from a pretty good range, but only use it if it's going to kill the champ or provide a teammate with a kill opportunity. I see a lot of Riven's wasting their R.

Pay attention to if the other champs are stacking armor because that is how you counter Riven, if anyone is stacking armor be very careful.

I'll make this quick. Go watch BoxBox. Plain and simple. If you want to learn the nuances of how to play Riven go watch him. He tends to speak about what he is doing too so you aren't left in the dark.

For any champ you just have to learn to judge the situation

Your skills and their cooldowns Enemy skills and possible cooldowns Your teams health's and your enemies healths How your team has been reacting How the enemy has been reacting

There are a ton of little variables. After you've been playing a while it really becomes "Go with your gut" Usually if you think half a second on it and it seems like it might be a bad idea, it probably is.
