I find her Q very difficult to land sometimes. Any times on how to improve my Q shots?

The trick with a lot of these skill shots is you don't need to land them to be effective. By casting it you are saying that they either should avoid that area, or get bubbled. This allows you to force them to move in certain ways. Examples:

  1. You see them going for that tasty cannon creep, you bubble right on top of them: a) they move, miss the creep b) they get bubbled, miss the creep

  2. You cast the bubble right behind them: a) they instinctively move backwards from your engage, get bubbled, b) they hold their ground, but because they can't move backwards you have an advantage in the trade

  3. You cast the bubble so the edge intersects with their hitbox, but the majority doesn't: a) they don't move, bubbled, b) they move in the direction of the rest of the bubble, bubbled, c) they move away from the majority of the bubble - you have successfully moved them like a sheep, hopefully into an advantageous spot for yourself

  4. They are running a predictable path (back to tower, for example) and you cast along their path: a) they continue their path and get bubbled, b) they sidestep, allowing you and your ADC to catch up

The last two situations are the most important for getting value out of your bubbles. Not every missed bubble is a wasted spell!

It's also a great disengage tool. For example in Leona matchups I'll usually wait for Leona to engage my carry and then just bubble her. BONUS if the bubble hits my carry, too, it gives them a speed boost.

Generally, a great use for a good offensive bubble I've found is to wait for my ADC to go in to trade and perform #3 after I see how the adc is responding. If they look to want to trade and back off, you cast behind, and if they want to counter-engage, you cast in front!

Hope this helps. I'm not the greatest player but I really enjoy playing Nami :)

If the enemy is generally afraid of getting caught in your Q, they tend to run away when you rush up into range really quickly; most of the time you can just aim right behind them and they walk into it.

To decrease the difficulty of landing it, you can also buff yourself with E and autoattack them to slow them before you throw a bubble.

Especially during laning phase, watch your own minions' health bars. When it's obvious the enemy ADC is going to kill one for CS, launch the bubble at them; they'll usually have a slower reaction time because they are waiting for their auto attack animation to go off.

Bubble when you knock them up with your Ultimate; R is very hard to avoid at mid to close range so they'll probably get knocked upwards, and absolutely be unable to dodge a follow up Q.

If you're working with a teammate that has a guaranteed stun, or a trap (Jinx or Caitlyn for example), shoot your bubble right after they get caught, but try to overlap the stun as little as possible.

Spam it. It will eventually land.

Aim behind them or where you think they're going to move next. If jungle is coming down for a gank, aim to the side, if your ADC is rushing them, aim behind, etc. Additionally, it has a bit of a wider range than most people think - you don't have to land it RIGHT on top of the opponent. There's a sweet spot where you can catch them right on the edge with it.
