I just... don't like to be sooo squishy, same sorta goes for mid, and I don't like to have all that carry pressure on me. I also like to be the initiator, which is why I main bruiser Ekko and Sion, which you cant really do for adc with the exception of ashe. The only squishy/carry champion that I like is tf, and that's because hes more of an assassin with his ult honestly, plus he has so much utility (2 second stun on 3.5 second cooldown).

Trist is my best adc, but i dont even do that well with her, i just get insta killed a lot even though I have peel, and im bad at csing compared to most adcs (somewhat in general, but I don't find it easier to cs with an adc than other roles even though it's supposed to be)

So yeah, any tips?

I have the same problem, except for some reason I'm okay in mid, I can handle a squishy in mid, but for some reason when I ADC I just cant do anything.

The biggest thing I've learned about ADCing since I've been trying to get better at it, is learning how to focus and when to farm safe. Playing mostly top and Jungle bruisers I'm used to running in and taking hits and just sorta getting off as much damage as I possibly can, But for ADC I find it hard to transition from running in to soak up hits to stay a safe distance from all the damage, and knowing when you should just back out completely.

But even me trying to do that is insanely hard, considering I've been called a "fucking idiot" a "Dumbass ADC" and a "Stupid Piece of Shit."

Its definitely a hard role to transition into, especially when you get screamed at for any mistake you make.

Best of luck!!!

Whoever told you that getting CS was easy as an ADC was a few fries short of a happy meal. ADC is probably one the the hardest roles to get CS because you have to worry about 2 enemies instead of one. True, your support will help but ADC is not easy by any stretch of the imagination (given that certain supports make it really easy). If you don't like being the ADC but like the bot lane I would suggest switching over to support. Then you don't have the pressure to carry you just get the ADC fed and help them carry.

If you are determined to roll it up ADC style then I would suggest you focus on your positioning and as long as your getting semi-decent CS you should be fine. The part where you are squishy is what you need to focus on and for that it all boils down to positioning. Be aware of where the enemy assassin is and don't be in the front line. Always stay behind your tank, if your front line is falling back you fall back too because you need them to keep you alive. They are your shield. Keep a mind on where your support is because if you are near your support then can peel for you. Don't be afraid to just AA the enemy tank, yes it would be nice if you could dive in and kill the enemy carry but that isn't your job. Your role is to deal as much damage as you can and someone needs to wear that enemy tank down, that's where you come in. Once that front line falls its easy for you and your allies to clean up.

I'd just like to add this video:

How to CS

Hopefully, that will help. Beyond that, stay behind your minions. A good way to determine whether a minions is one auto away from dead is to left-click them to monitor their HP. If their HP is below your AD, then you can kill them. Use the S button to prevent unnecessary minion autoing during the early game. And also, always complete item 3031 before item 3006 .

Also, if you can, have a friend you already know support you. It'll eliminate the potential of having a troll support who purposely gets you killed so that the other team members and him/her rage at you.

When I ADC, I typically AA the enemy laners from a safe distance (Trist, Jinx, Kog'Maw, Caitlyn are good for this because of their long range) while the enemy minions get their health lowered by mine. Poke the enemy laners, and last-hit when you can. Play aggressively because a lot of support players have no idea how to counter it (Believe me, it's pretty effective) but just don't overdo it (diving, etc.). When you're under 50% health, play it really safe and make sure you have River warded at all times, because bot lane is a lane that gets camped a lot due to the jungler not wanting you as an ADC to get fed. Jinx is my personal favorite ADC because of her great attack speed, long range splash damage, peel, and a great skill-shot slow that does a considerable good amount of damage. Her passive (Get Excited!) is a great way to get a kill and get out, or get a kill and chase, hence why getting a Pentakill on Jinx isn't all that difficult under the right circumstances.

Tristana does have a peel, yes, but it's not the greatest one. It's her only form of CC, and it happens to be her ult, which isn't on a short cooldown in the slightest. She has a great escape, but really should only be used offensively due to its damage and long cooldown. Basically, use her W when you know you're going to get a kill. It's a great tool for getting double, triple, quadra, or pentakills as it's a long-range initiate/disengage reset. Tristana is also a great turret pusher; max E, then Q, put E on a turret, and AA it with Q active. Her E passive has a great deal of splash damage which is a great farming utility. The E active is a good lane harass and should really be used to get a good deal of damage dealt on both the enemy carry and support.

ADC isn't an easy role, despite popular belief, and there's a lot of responsibility on your shoulders when playing the role. You have to stick to the back lines of your team, and when your team dives, you're expected to follow up, because a lot of times the entire team's goal is to make sure the ADC gets the most kills as possible and the least amount of deaths so they can hypercarry into late-game. If you don't follow up on these, chances are your team will say in the chat, "wtf" or something along those lines.

My general advice is to stay safe but aggressive at the same time. Good luck!
