This season I am trying to main bot lane because, I had success with it last season but my Elo is low. So i am wondering if you can let me in on tips and trick to help me carry harder in solo Q as a support and adc. P.s. I do not like to duo because if you can not carry your self you need to be there for one reason or another. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-history/NA1/206807045

So can you help me find me find flaws in my game. One thing i know is obvious i need to work on my postioning as adc.

Okay

Runes I would not recommend attack speed runes "I understand you may be limited on IP". optimally you would want: hybrid pen/ magic pen marks flat hp seals 1 page with magic resist 1 with something like magic pen/ flat mana regen glyphs. quints I go 2 armor flats and flat hp. Many people find that hp is better early on in game, but I like to keep about 10 armor around 2 from masteries, 8 from runes.

Masteries against Janna you would probably not need the extra defense in lane that you would have to go 14 points in defense, but keeping up with her scaling will be easier if you put those point into the utility tree (go 9/21).

Build I tend to stay away from item 3068 cape because its more of a split pusher/jungle item. If you want tackiness you should go item 3143 / item 3110 on support.

I see you like item 3075 , and I will tell you that supports get little to nothing out of the item(unless you're Taric ) On every champion, you will gain a lot more stats that supports need from item 3110 . the armor is the same, but you get 20% CDR(more stuns to spam), mana( also more stuns to spam), and a passive that is actually way better than people may think it is. while item 3075 will give you 100 armor and a passive that you will barely utilize because supports have very little hp in their builds that they will utilize this passive with.

If you are playing a passive/poke/mage/peel based support you should go item 3303 at the start, this item will give you a lot more lane pressure than item 3301 will. If you want the item 3069 active later on, you can always sell the item 3303 for it.

Always remember to get your item 3341 at the same time as your item 2049 . This is because ward caps already limit you to less than what your item 2049 can put down, so there is no point in having item 3340 anymore.

On the topic of wards, you are a bit low on how many you place for the amount of time you play. As a support you must constantly be thinking of what your enemies next move will be and placing wards so that your team can properly adjust. For example, you should have wards around the dragon area about 1m 30s before it spawns. (if you wait too long the enemy will show up and catch you out while you are placing them). Just having 3 wards out doesn't mean much if they aren't placed properly, and many times it is a good thing to replace a ward with another so that the new one can give you vision (there is not much of a point in having baron warded if dragon is up in 30s and you're only 15 minutes into the game when no one will do baron).

If you are warding properly, you will end up with about 40 wards placed at the 40 minute mark, with 1 ward per minute average after that. This rule doesn't apply earlier because you won't have your item 2049until at least a few minutes in.

Laning push to get level 2 first (auto each minion of the first wave once then let the ADC do the rest). If they yell at you for hitting their farm, just say sorry, take the "blame" and move on. It is much easier to do this than it is to have to explain to them what the concept of level rushing is. if you do this, you will push the wave very slightly, granting your exp because the minions die, and you will get level 2 before the enemy. On many ranged supports I find that you can nearly 2v1 the enemy with this level advantage.

Be aware of when the enemy will hit level 2 as well, getting hooked by a level 2 Blitzcrank when you are level 1 really sucks, and will almost always result in the loss of summoner 4 .

If you happen to fight the enemy and your ADC dies but you kill both of them, it is generally best to push the wave to the enemy tower. The time you don't do this is when either you suspect the enemy jungle is nearby, or if you don't think you can get it to the enemy tower before they return to lane. The reason you do this is so that the tower kills the minions, granting the enemy bot lane no exp or gold for the minions the tower kills.

Champion Picks/lane comps As far as picking for a bot lane comp, I say it is a terrible idea. You should always try to pick a support that will work well with your team, or work well against their team. For example, even though Lulu may be hard to play against Blitzcrank bot lane, I will still go her so that I can poly morph/knockup the enemy Kat. I have found that mastering a select few champs, as opposed to slightly mastering many, works best for supporting because of this.

http://na.op.gg/summoner/league/userName=ray+brown1213 "Check MMR" on top right corner, below "Renew Data".

Based on op gg, looks like you have a higher MMR than your league (not too sure on how accurate this is).

Some tips you can try are changing your build according to your enemy champions (ex. If enemy has a fed Kat, getting a guardian angel can deny Kat a reset if she tries to burst you down). Also, try and ask support to play a champion with good synergy with your adc (ex. Draven and Leona)

If you want to carry games as the ADC, learn to snowball any advantages you get in lane and transition those advantages to get objectives and win the game. If the enemy focuses your bot lane and sends their entire team to bot, tell ypur teammates to hard push the other lanes and take turrets. When you win teamfights, take advantage of the enemy's death timers by going for objectives like baron/dragon/turrets. Kills don't win you the game but taking objectives do.

Since I play bot lane, I'll go through the basics of carrying bot:

First and foremost, stick to a champ and know them, inside out. This helps you more understand a champion, and thus, let you focus on your matchups. Not knowing how to utilize Jinx's rockets to poke and farm is just as detrimental when you're up against an odd-ball pick that confuses you.

Second, farming. The basics is the last hitting, which you know about. You want to carry harder, not just simply carry. Now we look at positioning. Go back to your matchup. Do they have powerful aoe abilities? Is their cc abilities skillshot (Morgana ), Homing (Taric ), or zone (Soraka )? This lets you know how mobile you need to be. A rule of thumb is to ALWAYS have minions between you and your opponent. This isn't too helpful when some champs can rush through it (Leona ), but it's good to avoid the heaviest of damage. Normally, I don't stick too close to my support while playing adc. I keep a small distance in case a jungler ganks, which gives my support chance to escape or assist with some desperation offense. (can't do much with a Thresh support if he gets knocked up as well by a j4 gank). Once my support engages, or my adc decides to go in, we close together, and I try to keep myself physically between the target and my adc (as support), or behind my support (as adc). Not as easy to target.

From here, it's playcalling. League of Legends is a team game. regardless of how fed you are, you can't 1v5 a team solo. Lone wolf'ing it works only so well, until you get into the higher ranks or against opponents who know the meaning of grouping up. To carry, know when to call for stuff. Like it was mentioned earlier, if you see a huge 4 man gank on your team, there's an obvious gap in their lane presence. Tell that person to get to lane and take a tower. Warding will help, which will serve as your opportunity to call for help at a more appropriate time. If you won a teamfight, you have enough time to take Dragon or Baron. Even if your team is a bit shaken by having a fair deal more deaths, keep them focus on the task. Being able to tell your team you guys have the chance to turn things around (and then doing so) is what makes a carry. I have played games as support and carried my team due to this (it's not always the case of being the bigger damage dealer when it comes to carrying a team).

I would recommend playing lane bully's. 99% of Low Elo games are determined in lane since Low Elo players dont know how to play safe. Caitlyn is always a safe pick and Lucian is pretty viable too.

Maybe you should relax. Focus on not getting caught, and then last hitting. Some really good ADCs I've seen will simply sacrifice 10 farm, and allow the minion wave to push up to their tower, then farm exclusively at the safety of their tower. This offsets a lot of the early advantage the enemy can have, and you'll be able to focus your efforts more into how you'll handle a mid/late game battle--the actual critical part of the game. You can come back and try to murder the enemy ADC in future games, after you've gotten confident in your team fighting capabilities. Winning the teamfights is more important than anything else.
