Is it okay for a laner to miss lane xp so that they can leash krugs/gromp for their jungler?

You can help leash and not miss anything, you don't really have to give up anything.

you should never leash so hard that you miss experience

auto 3 times, use your ability if possible, and leave. that's a strong leash and you miss nothing.

Assuming you're going gromps/krugs

If I'm botlane or toplane I'd help with leash; if I'm midlane than I probably won't leash. If you're top or bot, throwing 2-3 autoattack+skill isn't going to make you miss a minion, however, if you're mid you will. If he/she is starting red or blue than I will help with leash as mid (except if I am a melee like yas, fizz, etc)

Simple, no.

Speaking for at least bot lane, the current meta (kill supports and burst AD carries) revolves around that level two power spike ; whoever hits level two first almost automatically wins lane if they take advantage of the level difference.

Those two extra autos you gave your jungler probably aren't worth the 300 gold you're about to give to the enemy AD carry!

If the bot lane leashes too long, they risk losing experience to the enemy bot lane and being all-in'd when the enemy hits level 2 before them. BAM! Lane lost or at least at a disadvantage. Even the possibility is not worth the small trade-offs.

if you leash too long you end up losing lane because you lose to much early xp.

The support can stay in the jungle longer and help the Jungler get the rest of the camps in the Bottom jungle.

Why are they missing exp? Mid shouldn't be leashing krugs/gromp, so they don't miss anything, and top or bot can leash without missing anything.

If i start top i go gromp, wolves , then blue if i need man other wise i do what your friend does. But most of the time i start kruggs and i smite right away so top only has to atack like 3 times then i go raptors to red. Then i back and go clear my other side if none of my lanes need a gank.

you can leash and not miss any exp, just give it like 3-4 auto's and go to lane.

In the nicest sense possible for lack of better terms: Your friend doesn't know how to jungle.

A jungler's job to carry his team through the early portions of the game, how is forcing laners to miss xp going to help them ?

My take on leashes Bot lane should always leash, cuz junglers should always start bot theres 2 people for more AA in a shorter amount of time and now you dont have to disrupt 2 lanes... like top and mid and dont say you need blue buff, I've done jungling and not once have I been in "DIRE IMMEDIATE NEED FOR MANA REGEN RIGHT FUCKING NOW!" While top lane and mid lane, should be optional for them whether they decide to leash you or not

Anyways leashes should only stay at max.. when the big creep hits half hp or so, idk if you have some range ability, might as well toss it on your way out

I have been going Shaco lately, so less worry for my teams. ;D

On serious note, few hits (2-4) should do and you can go back to lane.

I say yes, because that jungler will likely help you, or they could go for more xp and gold in the jungle. They need a good start. Depending upon the jungler it may not always help you, but it should go a ways towards keeping relations with the jungler in the positive and I doubt they'll forget you helped them.
