I'm scared to play ranked.

So currently I am bronze 2 0 lp and i have played about 30 ranked games. I rarely play ranked, only on rare occasions or if I am duoing with my friend. The reason I don't play ranked is I get very nervous about loosing lp, getting demoted, and more and its really annoying. And when I play normals I win way more and play much better, but its like as soon as I play ranked, I don't play as well and more bad things happen. Since this has happened so many times I have developed a fear of ranked because so far, I have had more bad ranked expieriences then good ones. Does anyone have any tips for dealing with anxiety for ranked, I want to get to silver but there is no way that I can if I'm to scared to play. Thanks.

You have to keep playing ranked. Anxiety goes away with exposing yourself more to the thing giving you anxiety. I used to have majority anxeity playing ranked back in season 1. I eventually got over it once i started spamming ranked games. I'm telling you as a Diamond 3 player who has played since season 1 that you need to play more ranked in order to get over this feeling.

Here's a good way to see it. If you play ranked and do well, you rise in rank and get to feel like you're good.... which is nice.

And if you play ranked and do poorly, you get to play with some hilariously bad people, which is fun. The game is about fun, after all. Unless you're going to go pro, just play ranked... do your best and if you end up in games with AD Teemo support, laugh and try to enjoy them. Might be time to crack out your jungle braum build! Who knows?

you get plat downy's that go fiora jungle and feed 12 min in. And you are afraid to play in bronze? you should be afraid to play with plat/diamond players they are worse than bronze.

Hi I used to have ranked anxiety and it really ruined my ranked experience. The way I solved this is pretty much just playing more ranked even if i was having a bad time. Ranked is more stressful than normals because your lp is on the line. You just need to stop caring about your lp and just care more about improving. If you have a bad game just think about what you can do better next time.

Ranked basically consists of people who have massive ego or just really toxic I know there is a thing called elo hell (bronze and silver) but gold is like more worse than elo hell because everyone is just bad in gold I got from bronze 1 to gold 3 then back to gold 5 wtf its because its always one sided teams

I've been thinking about this because I've just got into pvp games more (I've only been playing a few months so I wasn't ready earlier) and I worry about doing poorly and I usually lose my games. I know losing is part of it but because it is so often I wonder what I can do myself to ensure victory. Personally I've been trying to look for some videos and guides to help me play better (if anyone knows any good learning material for top lane tank let me know) and open to find someone to coach me. It gives me more confidence when I learn something new and I usually play better.

When I started the game I had people IRL coaching me but now I've just about caught up to their knowledge and I've moved away from them. It was nice to have someone speaking to me. If you have any IRL friends that are of a higher rank maybe they can watch you play and give you tips? It's not all your fault though because it is a team thing. Having good communication with your team mates can really help. Maybe try to get a team together of people that you communicate with well? It will help you not be anxious if you know your team mates aren't going to be mean as well.

If they are mean just pretend they are little kids, that's what I do. Then it gets kinda funny.

Also just jumping into it helps me. If I think too much I worry too much.
