suggestions/tips to improve/learn really fast? & some other questions

HI. This is my first MOBA and currently I'm level 10 (been playing 3 weeks though lol. lack of time because of school). I've already looked at many guides, forums, pro videos, builds, etc. and still am looking. Also, I've started PVP at level 5. I've tried several champs, and found that I like CC and range and suck at support. Probably my past experience is playing mage class in an MMO, and I had many CC skills. Any champion suggestions?

So, I know it's a bit early probably, but I've read a lot on being stuck in bronze, and I'm worried that I'll be stuck there as well. I at least want to get out of bronze after I eventually get to level 30. A lot of people say it's the mindset and attitude that keep people stuck there. And, aside from mechanics, I'm all for learning and acknowledging myself as a noob, so, hopefully that's a good mindset?

Also, just wondering, since many people make smurfs, does that mean pvp under level 30 is kind of equal to bronze already? I have seen some players that wipe out entire teams by themselves.

uh, and probably a stupid question, but to what extent am I responsible for my teammates? Should I die for them? Should I worry about ks-ing them?

Thank you! Sorry for my naive-ness and any sharing from personal experience is liked too! c:

And any tips for clicking on target properly?

Don't worry about ks'ing them. Unless you are blowing high CD's to do so or could be focusing something else. Securing kills opens up opportunities and me trying to let someone else have the kill sometimes lets the enemy live...Kill Secure is actually a good thing.

Only die for a team mate if they are really ahead or you can get something major out of it. If you are both even, trust that you will make better judgement calls than them if you want to climb. Sometimes dying for someone just leads to both dying and that is never a good thing.

If you want to avoid being stuck in bronze I have 2 huge tips. Play champions that can carry in every role (Supports like Morgana and Annie are good for this if you have to do it)

Get really good at 1 specific role and at least learn the others. Try for 5 good champs in your main lane and like 2-3 in the others. (champs that can fill multiple roles are even better for this)

For me that is Top: Irelia, Morgana, Diana Jg: Akali, Amumu, Nunu, Diana Mid: Diana, Viktor, Leblanc, Talon, Morgana ADC: Jinx, Sivir, Varus Support: Morgana, Leona, Blitzcrank

PvP Pre-30 is kinda like bronze actually. A lot of people don't know what they are doing but you have a few that are "smurfs" that will heavily carry a game one way or the other. It happens a lot but don't try to pick up habits of people that are essentially facerolling there. They do things like over extend and ignore CS because they don't fear the enemy team due to it being low level. Try to watch some high elo streamers and pay attention to their gameplay to get a view of better habits (like warding).

Good luck and may your games be void of trolls and afk's :D

Improving is completely based upon your past experiences and current talent, there is no surefire way to improve fast besides coaching or watching pro games and learning and practicing.

Just play PvP until level 30. That's what I did, and I came out with a fairly decent sense of gameplay. Also, look up what every champion does (the ones in champ select that you play against). Knowing what skills/abilities champions have, how they use it, and how long cooldowns are is REALLY useful.
