Do placement matches reset at the end of the season?
Basically, if you have not played ten ranked placement games (say, eight), do they reset at the end of the 2014 season? Please help!

Those matches influenced your ranked solo queue. So if you started at 1200, and won 3 and lost 3, you are probably still within 50 of 1200. Next season your MMR will shift towards 1200, so if you are around 1150 you'll be at like 1175 and if you are at 1250 you'll be at 1225. Pretty much, because you have only played 6 ranked games and won 50% of them, the reset won't matter to you.
