OK so recently i started my grind for gold for the season rewards i have been silver for quite some time. I main mid and mainly the assassins like zed fizz and such. I do decently well and try to help my other lanes too i feel like i do alright but i know im making mistakes becuase the out come will often result in a loss. I recently tried split pushing zed when things arent working in a team fight standard. But it seems when i do that i just irrate my team and then we end up losing anyway. Now i know its not all their fault becuase if i said it was i would be lying but i really want to know what i can do to win more often or improve much more as a player. ive got about 4000+ games played in total so i know alot of things inside out of the game. I would just like anyone to give me advice or maybe even help me succeed in getting gold becuase im litteraly driving myself insane losing on 10+ loss streaks. Ive tried teamfighting as well but ive found no success in that either. It seems like when everything goes bad no one hardly tries anymore.

It's hard to say from what you have said. Just going from 4000+ games and you're still in silver definitely says something about yourself (Not trying to be mean). All I can say is you are really going to have to criticize yourself throughout the game, figure out where your mistakes are, acknowledge them and think about what you could do better in the situation or even a way to avoid putting yourself into a bad position in the first place. Even if the game isn't entirely your fault for losing, figure out what you could have done to change the flow of the game (More wards? Wards in key locations? Did you stay to get 5 CS over collapsing to help your jungler against enemy invade at his red? Did you never follow your enemy mid laner, did he roam freely? Could a consist ward preventing him from getting that double at bot or sneaking past blue to tower dive your top laner).

The brackets are just examples of things to think about, you'd be amazed at how effective keeping wards up in key locations can be and it will carry you and your team as your team also uses that vision that can help your jungler pull off a gank on the enemy jungler or most importantly prevent any ganks from happening. If you aren't planning on following laning enemy you better have wards so you know if he's actually going assist another lane, otherwise you're giving him free roam which only adds pressure to all lanes (Mostly bot lane).

If you aren't already, make it a habit to ALWAYS buy wards when you return to base (If you got the gold leftover). As well, get the sweeper so you can remove wards around dragon and mid lane, having constant vision of the river and your jungle entrances will ease ALOT of pressure on your entire team, removal of enemy vision (The sweeper) will only add pressure to the enemy team. Try to make sure you always keep a pink ward active, maybe not in a big traffic area but watching over a key entrance/buff in your jungle that the enemy jungler is unlikely to go into but will pass by. I've had pink wards that have been placed that have stayed up for 20-25 minutes and I can't tell you how useful that constant vision is.

Just thoughts that came to my mind...... Vision has such a huge effect on how the game plays out.

Brush above Red buff (Below Red if Purple side) and the Brush behind blue buff that connects into the river. These places provide a lot of vision (Covers Wraths, Jungle entrances, as well as river), good places for a early pink ward.

Or even, if you know the jungler is top (He's currently doing a gank). If possible push your lane so you can roam to their blue buff or wolves and place a green ward for some deep vision, having deep vision is amazing, just knowing the location of the enemy jungler will make all your lanes get aggressive and maybe grab kills because they know the jungler won't be showing up.

Glad to hear that you are trying to improve your own skills rather than automatically blaming the team; this attitude alone gives you a large advantage over other people who are also struggling to climb.

Mid lane assassins can be kind of a trap. If your opponent doesn't play safe, you should wind up with some kills early on. But the stronger your champion is in lane, the less potential they have for contributing post-laning phase (usually). If you want to play Zed and Fizz, it's not enough to know how to survive the early levels and then start scoring kills. You need to really know what to do with that lead. I've said this before to other people: if you go 5/1 in lane and then wind up 10/6 like 10 minutes later, that's a pretty significant throw. You had a lead but then fed some shutdown gold and went 1-for-1 several times, resulting in a significant amount of dead time where your team didn't have their strongest guy on the field.

Having a more diverse champion pool is always nice but it's late in the season to be picking up new champs or new roles, so stick with what you know. Rewatching your games (especially your losses) can help you see your mistakes. Or if you want, I could watch some of your games and do that for you. Swing by my stream thread if you are interested.

Improving is never easy, and simply telling you about the things you need to know may not always yield the best results, however you need to learn about 'play styles' (passive, aggressive and bait), and other methods of winning the lanes and clashes, so that you can fight to win the lane, rather than fight to kill 'just' the opponents.

I took my sweet time writing a rather extensive guide about the basic and more advanced theory behind many of the concepts that permeate this game.
