Lane Swap

So I've been watching a lot of LCS and Im wondering why so many people/teams are lane swapping. Can someone explain to me why?

a team will lane swap if they dont like a match up . For example, at worlds ssw would play a lot of twitch (cuz twitch is awesome ),but twitch has a very bad laning phase . So they would lane swap it 100% of the time. Right now, Gnar is such a strong laner that it is commen to lane swap against it.

It's a trick to redistribute the power and possible farm of your team.

For example, if you have a "Top" Laner who can farm safely even in a 1v2 lane, you can switch your top lane with your bot lane. What this does is that your "Top" Laner can maintain their farm, and your "Bot" Lane duo abuses the fuck out of the enemy solo top. Your top lane keeps up, your bot laners snowball, and their enemy top starves.
