So right when I got 30 I played about 15 ranked matches got bronze 1 and quickly realized I wasn't ready for ranked so I went back to normals I'm getting to the point where I'm feeling good about 2 roles and solid about the other 3 so one thing I was wondering when I first start laning should I try and push? or does it depend the lane matchup or the junglers

Ok I have some general tips since you didn't mention the 2 roles you were really good at

  1. After you kill your opponent, or they go back, use your skills to push the lane hard and then you go back. This will cause their tower to kill YOUR minions, denying your opponent the experience and gold he would have gotten if the lane pushed at its natural pace

  2. Use your trinket to ward the intersection between the enemy red buff, the enemy raptors, and the entrance to your lane. Most junglers look for a gank after killing their red buff, as the buff allows them more kill pressure. Warding that intersection will allow you to stay safe. This rule generally applies to mid lane, if you're top lane or something, ward based on what side you're on and how pushed you are. Here is a picture on where you should be warding http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/attachment.php?attachmentid=867791

  3. If you're jungling, try to gank a lot, and try to let your laner get the kill. This will lead to your laners getting an advantage and not needing your help anymore, while the enemy will rage at their jungler for not ganking or saying " omg gg getting camped." This will ruin their morale, and distract them from the game

  4. In teamfights, always focus the carries/person that does the most damage. People in lower elos tend focus enemies based on HEALTH, so most often the squishy support will die first while the enemy mid laner and adc dish out A LOT of damage.

  5. Don't go X build based on Y champion. Always switch up your build based on your opponent, and their team. For example, if I'm playing Talon mid and I'm against a Diana, getting hexdrinker early will DRASTICALLY reduce her kill pressure. Most assassins have JUST the right amount of damage to 1-0 someone. If you get that extra resistance, it will increase your survivability greatly. You don't have to finish the whole item right away, just get the component that is effective against your opponent. If i'm against an AP top laner like Vladimir or Rumble, I get the specter's cowl pretty early, but hold off finishing the spirit visage until later in the game. If they have a lot of CC ( Ashe, Leona, etc) get merc treads. If they have a lot of autoattack based champs like a Vayne Top, Jinx ADC, Xin Zhao jungle, get a ninja tabi. So on and so forth.

Good luck, and just stay positive :)

If you are good at roaming, you want to push lane and roam. Otherwise, just focus on farming and not dying and get to the mid game. I wish I had waited longer before starting ranked. You want to have at least two solid champions for each role. That is why it's great to main a champ that fills multiple roles.
