TFT late game match up

Hello,

I've noticed in a couple of games that I'm in 8th place and I get pitted against the top 3. Match after match till I'm dead, sometimes against 1st place two or three games in a row. Obviously I'm not going to be able to do anything against it regardless of tanking my economy or selecting a counter-comp or any magical comeback. Doesn't make sense since I'm getting weaker while the top three is getting stronger. In sports it's unlikely for a scenario like this to happen, although I can remember playing a game of basketball against a group of small children. We won, btw...

Maybe the matching can change after your points go past a certain threshold. Like, 25 below your chance of going against top three decreases. Only prob might be that people can abuse it by losing intentionally with power on the bench.
