I think Riot should fix the game instead of creating a new one

TFT had many issues and bugs but we couldn't really blame a game in beta status for those things. However, I expected that Riot is working on these issues and trying to get the game out of beta. Instead, we have a lot of new champions, races, etc. now and I don't understand why. Imo fixing the bugs, balancing the already existing champions should have been the way, not removing almost everything and changing the game so much I can barely even recognise. Yesterday, I had to decide what buffs I wanted in late game and making my choice accordingly, today all I see are broken buffs for free, like Riot wants the same oneshot meta for TFT as for rift. Sad face panda.

Oneshotting was always in TFT.

Till now I found out that there're some some broken comps and units in "set 2". So is not the same thing as "set 1" ? For instance Lux with the same damage as Karthus but big synergy bonus and low mana cost. Is this balance because she cost 2 golds more ?

Tbh I kinda like that they're coming out with new sets of champions like this, I'd like to see a set based around the Project skins some time.

The meta at the end of set 1 was just really bad and felt incredibly restrictive, I'm actually pretty happy to be rid of Knights, Hextech and Dragons.

I guess the one negative is that to come extent I'm having to re-learn the game, but at the same time that's refreshing so I don't really mind.

Though one problem I can see is that the fact that they've decreased the amount of cards per unit that are available could be bad if this ends up being poorly balanced that it could end up being pretty detrimental even if the idea behind it is actually good. I mean the meta at the end of set 1 was really restrictive so if that happens here you're pretty fucked.
