[Suggestion] Reroll system
First of all, I want to introduce some terminology for my suggestion.
- "Piece" (or "piece instance") is a single instance of any champion.
- "Champion" is a specific kind of piece, like Garen. Or Lulu. Or Swain. So, for example, we have 11 Tier 1 Champions, but 39*11 = 429 Tier 1 pieces.
- "Skipped" piece is a piece which still remains in the store when you reroll.
My suggestion is to make some kind of Gwent-mulligan-like reroll system. Not as the exact solution, but as an example I propose the next scheme.
Any piece instances which have been skipped recently are restricted for reappearance in the store. So, if you reroll four times and total of 5 Zeds was skipped, your personal store pool is 5 Zeds less. You still can have the same undesired champion in store after several rerolls subsequently, but pure luck (or rather unluck) influence is greatly reduced.
To not make severe influence on game flow in general these bans should persist for given number of rerolls (say, 3-5) AND only till the end of a round. It is like the skipped pieces are checked as "not for sale" for specific player for given number of rounds. And at the start of the next round (after the income) all pieces are unchecked again.
I believe this will work even better if these changes will be explicit rather than a hidden chance modification, so players can rely on it. These changes can add a new layer for players' skills.
Additionally, it can work similarly with the sold pieces to reduce frustration when you sell a piece (and thereby add it to the pool), reroll and immediately get this piece back in your store.
I'm open to suggestions. And if you like this idea, upvote it please, so devs could notice it.
