How do you even win in TFT

I have never hypothetically won a game of TFT, what I mean by that is I've never gotten above 5th place. I've tried multiple combinations, maybe I just down right suck. Like seriously I would be sitting in 1st place and then once the round happens where you're suppose to have 7 champions on the board, that's when I literally become useless and drop all the way down to 5th-8th place. What am I doing wrong?

well what compositions are you building what champions are you prioritising your items on are the items you're building efficient for the champion you want to be carrying

I just went for CC + a hyper carry comp and won quite a few games, i never place lower than top 4.

Pro tip: aim for 2 mana crystals. Target pick Kindred. Go for a 4/4 shadow comp, very easy and reliable, and Kindred alone with a Seraphs can hard carry you into 1st-4th place. Veigar can also hard carry. Shadow also has alot of comps to go along with it, giving you a good amount of flexibility.

I think I found what was doing wrong, apparently if I save up to 50 gold you get a ton of gold later on. You see I just kept rerolling when I didn't get something good lmao.

  1. You don't need hyper rolling strategy to be no 1, so don't spend money for gold units.

  2. Early game try to make a strong 2 stars units (such like 3 wooden + 2 druid or 3 predators or 2 rangers + 3 inferno + 1 any tank or 3 shadow + 1 tank etc). Watch Scara and Disguised Toast's streams to learn how to combine units and items.

  3. Once you got your early game comp (2 stars) start to save gold to make interest at least 40 gold. I suggest 50. The important thing is to resist till you got that gold interest.

  4. Level up till 7-8, meanwhile build the second comp for late game and use them when they are 2 stars. At level 7-8 you can migrate from early-mid game comp to late game comp.

  5. To have better chance to make 2 stars tier 4 units you need level 8. Once you reached lvl 8 you can hiper-rol to upgrade you units (specially ADC/APC or tank).

For late game comp I suggest to try 4 Ocean + 3 mage + 2 Mountain + 4 Warden / 2 Mystic (depend on your opponent): Brand (main APC), Syndra, Taliah, Nautilius, Thresh, Malphite (main tank), Vladimir (replace with Nami), Janna or 1 more Warden (depend what kind of dmg has your opponents AP/AD).

IMO the best early-mid game comp is 2 Ranger + 3 Inferno + 3 Shadow + 1 tank such like 1 any tank, Kindred, Varus, Zyra (replace with Annie), Malzahar, Veigar/Sion.

Late game transfer AP items from kindred to Brand and tank items to Malphite.

If you go this comp than start to grab Tear and Needlessly Large Rod from first 2 carousels to build Seraph and Rabadon for your main APC.

If you get the most important item Neeko Help use it on your main late game ADC/APC to upgrade him to 2 stars. If he is already 2 stars then use it on your main tank to upgrade him.

To protect you main ADC/APC from assassins, place 1-2 secondary tanks behind him, this means your main ADC/APC will be on the second row, middle, practically he will be surround by your units.

CC, tanks and 1 main ADC/APC rules in TFT and LoL.

Good luck :)

this set is more about getting tier 3 units thats why so many people use the hyper rolling strategy.

Everybody loses.

Seriously, you probably haven't played that many matches yet...

play with a group of 8 and have everyone lose on purpose. EZ
