So how does something like this happen?

I just finished a match where the winner had 6 level three champions (out of 6 total) and 50+ HP left. There were two other level three champions on all other players. So, in the end, he had 3/4ths of all the level three champions made. He somehow had 4 level three champions, I think, before the first person was even eliminated. I have a screenshot of the final score if someone knows how to post such things on this forum.

Pure RNG. Reason why I don't play it. I think it's a great idea and I understand it's hard to make it purely skill based, but damn. I've played games where I had 7x level 3 champs, and other games where I could barely get level 2 champs. Losses feel terrible, wins don't often feel amazing.

RNG.. Sacrifice your children and RNG MIGHT bless you.. It really sucks though. The amount of rng in this mode is sickening.. Especially when you aren't on the receiving end of it. lol.. Probably why I only play this mode when missions are up. Once those are done, I don't touch it again..

I mean if you buy all the tier 1 champions then you're going to eventually get all that you need if you roll at the right times. This chance is amplified if you notice that other players don't have the champions you need.

The hyper roll strategy is fairly outdated now but can still be effective due to early power spike and gold accumulation. That player would have sailed through to late game and let everyone else kill off each other. If you notice someone doing this, then getting grievous wounds on your team early will help you stop them.
