You should not fight the same guy twice or thrice in a row. Repeat matches boring/pointless.

From an E-sports perspective it's boring. The outcomes rarely change, the fights play out the same. Endgame it may be a different matter, but while everyone's still alive it shouldn't be a thing. You need a better matching algorithm. Alternatively if you at least broadcast who our next opponents are, then we'd at least have a chance to fight back.

With 8 players alive, I've fought the #1 player three times in a row. I was one of the stronger builds, but that didn't matter against a counter build. Lost 50 hitpoints and the game. Unbalanced rng.

I actually had this conversation with some people on the subreddit for TFT: https://old.reddit.com/r/TeamfightTactics/comments/cfn7rf/hello_my_name_is_tutpup_or_currently_known_as/eubon3d/?context=3

I agree and it's a huge part of the game that affects all players and no one is talking about it.

Some players get ghost boards 4x in a row while others fight the top guy over and over. Who you fight is so critical to how you will do considering how much damage you can take since fights end so fast.

Few days ago I had a game where there were 3 players with a 7-9 games winstreak. I was one of them.

We three never played against each other except at start and after we knocked 4 guys out. It was really fun game as all three of us were sitting at gold and were able to get several tiers3 but is it really healthy? I don't think so.

I agree it should be stacked to avoid, however it's not entirely pointless. Just repositioning your composition can entirely change the outcome of a round. If I get screwed by a Blitz, I'm real quick to change the position of my carry in case I see that opponent again, for example.

Also, if I'm in last place, I should not have to face the #1 guy and lose over 20 HP in one round.

There should definitely be some logic to avoid rematches within the same "sprint". I feel bad if I trounce one guy 2-3 times in a row because I've experienced what he's going through myself. Once the pool is whittled down to the top four there will probably need to be a rematch or two to avoid someone getting free passes to final rounds via ghost army match ups though.

A flag would track "fought this player before". Basically after the first PvP match up to the first carousel in round, no rematches. After the carousel the rematch flag is reset and tracks matches until the next carousel or PvE event, which would reset the flags again. Once there are four players left the flag is permanently disabled. Just a thought.

I just had a game today that in the very first PvP round I lose and guess what the game did? It make me fight the exact same person making me lose 2 round in a row. That make me behind early game and lose to a guy with 10 winning spree (6th place). I don't know how can a person call this skillful game, there is not such thing as skill...

WHAT, you say you don't like that completly rng system riot created?

Because moving champs back and forth before the match starts since we know who we're vsing is not annoying? This mostly happens in 1v1 fights, most annoying thing I've ever experienced.

i totally agree. last game tilted me so much. we were 3 guys left and i had to fight 3 times in a row against the same guy- while the 3rd guy just had to fight against a ghost.

i couldnt beat this guy. so while i got destroyed the 3rd guy just got a free 2nd place.

this is just disgusting. how could it be. if u are 3 guys left, that u have to fight 3 times in a row against the same one.

riot go ****** urself
