Why not make Little Legends upgradeable by playing?

After reading the responses on this article : https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/de/c/teamfight-tactics/p7QvZW11-little-legends-series-egg-guide i think its safe to say that a lot of players arent satisfied with the way little legends work. I totally get that they are one of the main monetizations for the mode as of now but i really think it would improve the system alot of 2/3 star Little Legends were unlocked by playing rather than by hoping to get another one of the same species by random chance. It would add more meaning and value to the Tiers (like "oh oh this guy has a Tier 3 Ravenlord Pengu, he must have played this game a lot") and it would probably get more people to buy the eggs because it decreases the amount of eggs they would have to willingly buy ( and i can guarantee you not everyone has the deepest pockets), overall it might add more profit and interest in the little legends and would add an actual feeling of accomplishment similar to maybe ranked armor or emotes aquired by having a high level.

I for one would definetly consider buying a few of those eggs for the chance of grinding my little Pengu into a big overlord.
