It's the year 20xx and TFT has become the most played game in the world, surpassing 1 billion viewers
Imagine yourself a few years into the future and boom it's patch 77.77 and Rito has just added the last team and with it, all 177 champions, to TFT. Despite the game being out for so many years, people are managing to dominate with new comps that have never been seen before and still aren't anywhere near to discovering everything. There are simply so many combinations that you can never get enough of this mode, even when you're sleeping you are really just theorycrafting the next godlike team to smash your friends with. This has even opened up full-time theorycrafting positions with the best making millions. The yung Scarra being a prime example, now known as the legendary theorycrafting champion.
How did Rito manage to add all the champions to TFT you ask? They had a grand vision. A vision that TFT will become the most played game in the world. This vision that was initially thought impossible and scorn be many, along with their dedication and passion for the game has now led us to the 20xx TFT World Championship Series, where over 10% of the popular tuned in last time allowing eSports to finally break the 1 billion total viewers that, once again, was thought impossible. Because of the scale of these tournaments, we have entered a new golden age where everyone seeks out one piece that can change their entire life in an instant, where even presidents have been elected.
How did they manage to balance all the champions you ask? Well, that's the billion dollar question that only they know. The true underground leaders of this world, the ones who are behind the genius that is TFT, The Big Brained Ones. Legends speak of the time-traveler Ekko coming to warn the devs from simply shifting the meta. There are ancient writings that describe a system which limits you to only 20 teams and you would save them like a rune page, or maybe it was 50 units instead of teams, no one really knows... It's known however that you could change a unit/team during the game itself for a fee in case there are too many being used by others or it doesn't work with your current comp. This writing was later known as The Scroll of Legends and would be taught in every school around the world.
In all seriousness, shifting the meta around will keep things fresh and fun for the vast majority most likely, but if you guys managed to add all the champions to the game, the amount of replayability and theorycrafting would push this game to something next next-gen. I'm sure it's easier to balance around 50~ units with rerolls and whatnot, and I have no idea how adding every single hero would complicate things and I know it will, but the outcomes of such a thing would surely be beyond anything anyone could ever imagine, simply legendary. It would even put path of exiles infamous system to shame. Please Rito, consider it as an option. Limiting to 50 units is something I randomly thought of for how to reduce the complexity of having all the champions in the game while making it significantly easier to balance around a set system. I'm sure there might be better ways but this was a quick and simple way to throw this idea out there. Thanks for reading.
Also, please consider working on a different client just for TFT. I imagine you would eventually have to either way and would hope you guys can launch the new client from the same launcher and it wouldn't affect anything else. Maybe with a new client you could allow the player to use the skins they want, that way you don't lose out on an absurd amount of revenue that's already in place. That might also be able to bring it to mobile which would mean even more $$$ for you, not that I care about mobile I just want it to spread everywhere, consoles too. Game with most players in the world inc. Love you all. Peace.
