OK. Am i the only support main that gets no props everyone takes credit for your help people tend to say they don't need you and straight up disregard support players. Its at the point where i tell anyone who wants to play support that it all comes with it like a package deal. Just played a game with a shaco who talk trash because i was karma??? until i saved him the whole game and his friend after he fed. Then he's mad when the enemy team tells him he handed the game. point is respect supports they're in League for a reason. lmao i want a support appreciation week or day.

No. This is not unusual.

Any time you lane with someone this can happen. Duo top and you're 1-2-5 while your partner is 5-0-1? Apparently you're trash. Even though the only difference is last hitting and supporting.

Works the same way with jungle. Bot lane dies? Your fault. Never their fault.

The problem is how success is measured in the game and by the players.

gold-, item advantage
lvl advantage
kills
damage dealt

conveniently all the things supports lack. Add to that that all lot of supports, especially enchanters, have incredibly low skillfloors, which makes players even more hesitant to give you credit for a good performance and it´s pretty obvious that people do not play that role for glory. Either you don´t care or you just play to win.
