We really need to tone down the randomness level if Riot wants to make this a ranked mode

Both getting a ton of ítems or making level 3 champions early are betterr than any team composition.

I know rigth now is just a beta, but we should think about this for the future.

Items need work.

Early level 3 champions is overrated. You can easily come back with superior synergy / late game heroes.

Would be great if there was things that can increase % of what you want. Lets say they added a flag to customization where all the flags are unlocked. Lets say you use a wild flag and you get increase % towards getting those champions in your pool Or even makes one of the spots a confirmed wild if any are left in the pool to be obtained. Downsides are if you pick a popular comp, you'll have competition. Also with the flag being cosmetics, people will know what you are aiming for and may counter you by grabbing the higher costs.

For item drops, I would say at least make a minimum amounts of items drops per round. Where the game can be balanced around both comps and items being played in. Or make a shop that you can exchange gold for items that appears at the end/beginning of a rotation cycle.

Ashe and Sej permafreezing your team and several assassins jumping to your backline don't care about your lvl 3 champ at all. Tell me more how lvl 3 champs are better than team composition. Items can break several champions and that issue is clear and known by everyone at this point. Those aren't the only team comps btw I can run 4 Wild and Shapeshifters and you'll see a Gnar at lvl 2 is much scarier than any early lvl 3s.

I agree. I've had a total of 3 items after the first round while someone else claimed to of had only 1. Huge advantage.

Also, what frequently dictates the winner is who RNG rolls the champ they are beefing up(completely out of player's control). You can use 100% of your gold on refreshing your shop and still not get the champ you're looking for.

I agree with items.

I sort of agree with champions, but I seldom get a tier 3 unit yet almost always get 1st-4th place. Team comp and multiple tier 2 units are better unless you really get lucky and get 3 tier 3's that all synergize, but that's super rare.

Honestly, as long as their is ANY pure rng anywhere in it it is unfit for being a ranked mode. Psuedo rng of some given form can be fine, but pure rng invalidates any competitive aspect.

Store uses pure rng? Game can't be ranked. Minions/monsters use pure rng to determine if they drop an item? Game can't be ranked. Glacial has a pure rng % chance to proc? Game can't be ranked. Gunslingers have a pure rng % chance to do their thing? Game can't be ranked. Etc. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Of course, this also means that regular LoL is unfit to be a ranked game because of crit chance, but I can forgive that due to the option to not build it at all or build it to 100%. Regardless of my forgiveness it does need to be reworked to not use pure rng.

At any rate back to TFT there is just way too much pure rng all over it to even think about forgiving any of it, so Riot should not even consider ranking it in any way.

I don't get why this company has so much trouble balancing the game. Also it's not tiers or items, it's passives that are broken. Wait till you have a composition that stun locks you and you can't even do anything.
