What is the strat behind buying all the low gold champions in the shop?

  1. The champion pool is shared, you are denying other players from taking those champs and boosting the chances of getting a champion you want.

  2. Since it's so early in the game you won't have interest yet nor is your comp is on tract, so taking those champs gives you more options on what to build your team around.

  3. If you're not sitting on 10,20,30,40,50 gold you're wasting money. You can sell the champs you brought for the same amount you payed for them, unless that unit is a Tier 2 plus 2 star unit.

Rerolls are a waste of gold and refunds grant 100% of the purchase. You never know what might be useful or what you might be able to level up as the rounds progress.

For the most part, it's due to versatility.

T1 champions are cheap, easy to mass and are cost-effective (2-star T1 champions can be refunded full-price compared to other tiers)

It is important to note that before the first PvP round you will never get above 10 gold, which means no income gold. This means you should buy as many T1 champions as possible. Afterwards look at what you have you decide on which class/origin you will focus on.

cause people are dbags that want to stop you from getting that 3 star early into the game and maybe even later on too when 1/2/3s become harder to find

Depends on the strat. I have been winning most of my games lately because people are trying to hoard champs. Meaning they have gold sitting behind their board ( in champs they will not use) instead of using it to get the vital early champs they will need. Their is truth that it reduces the chances that someone else will get that champ. I used to be one of those players that bought all the champs and hoarded my gold for interest, the would waste tons of gold later on trying to get my champs up to 3 star.

Now I usually have more 3 star champs then most people, (sometimes by a large margin) but I do not have the interest from hoarding gold.

If you are playing with with a team that has a lot of tier 1 champs( like noble) don't hoard. If you are playing with tier 2 or above (like glacial) hoard like your life depends on it.

ahh i see you haven't heard of hyper rolling. Go on youtube and search TFT hyper Rolling Strat (i think Disguised toast is only one so far?)

The TLDR is basically you save your gold, get a lot of it like 40+ and then buy literally all the Lv 1's you can and keep hitting refresh pool and buy buy buy and in the end you should have a little gang of respectable lv 3s.

Also it really teaches you how to conserve your gold and how to build leads through gold, even if you decided not to buy all the lv 1s i've used the same concept to get that 1 champ i was missing for a set bonus, or that 1 Draven I need for level 2 OR If i am already kind of ahead and i don't really "need" anything immediately I can quickly level up basically dumping all my gold to reach lv 6+ before anyone else which also can help with getting champ bonuses.

Econ is a real thing and when i started to learn about how to manage it i noticed my wins or top 3-4's in general became more consistent
