There is no in between.

And whenever I finish second place (assuming I do) it feels like I am a distant second to the guy who won. Because deciding matches are almost always wipes.

I've won a couple times myself and, when I do, it feels like there's nothing contesting my victory. I'm not winning because I am good. Hell, my first victory came when I didn't know about bonuses received from pairing champions of matching types or whatever. I only ever win if RNG favors me over my opponents.

I mean, is TFT supposed to be a serious mode in any event? The entire game seems entirely random, and I think that's okay. A nice waste of time when you want to turn your brain off.
