Suggestions for improvement
Hello teamfight tactics lovers!
Let me first state that this suggestion was just from what I have observed from watching Amaz video of playing the game on youtube https://youtu.be/nnRXDLTSbRQ. I have never played teamfight tactics but I have recently logged many hours of AutoChess on Dota 2. I do play League of Legends as a matter of fact but have stopped because of my addiction to AutoChess. I am now really excited to try this game out on the 25th and would like to share some thoughts because its a combination of both games i absolutely love.
1) Change Portrait Chess Piece to Unit Visual
For people that do not play League of Legends I can see them being confused of which portraits matches with their actual unit piece. Visual recognition is somewhat faster for some people when purchasing units, especially doing re-rolls during crunch time when the timer goes down.
2) Make 2-3 star level chess piece have more visual impact
Just from spectating I didn't even realize that the piece was level 2 even though the size got bigger and they were glowing. I would like to see some visual skins or visual effects to the pieces to really have that distinguishing factor that this level 2 chess piece is stronger and powerful than a level 1 chess piece. I just like that feeling in certain card games when you pull this like holographic rare powerful card to be applied in the same manner to this game as well.
3) Chess piece interactions
I feel that this is a great opportunity for Riot to express their champions lore on a more personal level with their players. Have these chess pieces have more interactions with each other.
- Make them do interactions when completing 1st level synergy -> 2nd level synergy and etc...
- Make them throw taunts at each other as they are battling or make them dance after they win a round.
- Make Announcer announce who is on a winning streak, losing streak, or on a rampage (more spectator feel).
Many of these suggestions is from what I have experienced from Dota 2 AutoChess and from watching team tactic videos so maybe I am missing something from actually playing the game. Please feel free to comment and give your own suggestions to further the discussion.
