Wow TFT got improved so much.

To be honest I didn’t like set 1 TFT. The games always felt the same. The winner was always the first to get the op damage champs like Draven and Jinx. Then it was a race for the best tank Cho’Gath because he had the most health and his cc ability was massive with secondary cc being Gnar. Shove every champion into a corner so Akali can’t one shot 3 of your carries from behind with one ability. Also dealing with Pyke having Spear of Sojin dashing around every 3 seconds. My point is that games kept feeling the same and was too frustrating because if someone got something good before you did, it was game over.

Now TFT feels way better. The new elemental hexes force everyone to play around them rather than shoving your team in a corner. You can choose to put someone on the hexes or put your team somewhere else to gain a positioning advantage. The team buffs are more about feeling satisfying to you rather than being frustrating for someone else (Ex: Hextech, Phantom). The fights feel a lot more chaotic and fun to watch and it feels a lot more satisfying with the champions being on a more even playing field. However I do think TFT suffers a few issues.

Cons: I don’t like mountain hexes because it feels like if you don’t use them, you are shooting yourself in the foot. It should be starting a match with a shield, not permanent health.

There are a few annoying champs but they are not as op as some set 1 champions such as:

Olaf- Without antihealing he can plow through your whole team.

Yasuo- He may not be an assassin but his ability might as well make him be. The fact he always targets the champion with the most items makes him guaranteed to one shot your carries. If someone gets him to 3 stars, it’s game over.

Master Yi- Even at one star he does a lot of damage, I haven’t even seen someone get him to 2 stars yet cause he’s so rare but I can’t imagine what he would do at 2 stars with items.

Brand- For some reason people don’t seem to go for him as much as before but hey I’m not complaining, more for me, more blowing up whole enemy team with one ability for me.

I disagree, set 2 is horribly unbalanced and not fun at all. I didn't downvote you though, we can agree to disagree. There are somethings I like about it but there just doesn't seem to be as many balanced ways to win. I won enough in set 1 to know that draven/cho/jinx weren't auto win. Plenty of times turning aatrox into a sorcerer and having the max bonus was OP or getting 9 yordles.. Or 9 blademasters, all tough to do but was very rewarding. Now I see pretty much the same type of comps win and furthermore its never about getting a 6-9 bonus anymore, It's not even reliable because of how random lux's affinity is.

Set 2 is probably more unbalanced than Set 1 was. Yes, Draven, Jinx and ASol were problem champions despite all their nerfs and continued to be.

Now, to replace them you have the Olaf Glacial + Berserker for AoE perma-team stuns. Olaf's healing isn't the problem. Throw a Guinsoos or two on him with a couple berserkers and you'll see the hilarity ensue.

You have the Summoners as a whole archetype that are insanely overpowered late game because of how Summons work.

You also have Brand. Get 6 Mages + 2 Oceans with a Brand and GG to everyone else that doesn't run Olaf.
