We need tenacity to counter glacial
Glacial comp is strong and with how much cc it puts out some sort of tenacity or qss
item needs to be added

No, we need Tenacity to counter Shojin Pyke.
I initially assumed that glacial was the strongest composition. It's pretty decent if you transition to it later in the game with good capital and can also match it with elementalist, however, I think that assassins are the true issue. With early rolling being nerfed, and the game favoring 2-3 cost champion strategies, players are now just losing matches and saving gold to prioritize items in carousel and have plenty to invest in assassins when they become available in larger numbers.
I bring this up because it counters everything including glacial. Also, glacial is a pretty skill-based strategy I believe. The units are highly expensive and it takes quite an investment. I see better players skipping glacial comps early, even if there are plenty of champions available, and waiting to invest in it later in the game where cc triumphs over raw damage. There could probably be some kind of balancing mechanism to make it a little weaker late and a little stronger early. I think that way it would be a little more balanced. I should also mention that I rarely see a glacial comp do well that isn't also coming equipped with elementalist bonus.
imo we need less CC on early game units and better design on glacial
OP or not, it's just unfun. Same with yordles tbh.
I'm not really trying to take a stance in the argument here, I just want to point out another side of Glacial based on my experiences:
I had full glacial, gold Origin buff and all. Having full glacial gives 40% chance to freeze an enemy on attack. Guess what happened?
In my final fight before losing, Glacial literally did not proc a single time. Literally. Zero. Procs. In all the fights before that, I had almost no procs, but did get a rare few. Simply put, I built full glacial, but did not get glacial, so I essentially didn't have a comp. Naturally, I got incinerated. This is what normally happens if I get glacial units, so I don't build it any more. Glacial SUCKS. If you get dumb lucky it works out amazing, but if you don't have dumb luck it SUCKS.
I would like to see the knight buff gain scaling tenacity. We already have both nobles and guardians for armor. Give knights something cool. Or inversely, change guardians to a tenacity aura.
Countering with items is a crapshoot. People can change their comps within 2-3 rounds. TFT isnt like league, people dont have permanent teams and you dont have items to resell and buy different items at will from the shop to match your opponents strategy.
its not glacial that is op, its pretty much this
you can throw both in any comp and get strong CC for no reason
or just throw 2 mix of those
and you are good to go even if they have 0 synergy with your comp.
I was thinking the same thing just an hour or so ago
Should be an item, or even another type of passive.
Had a game yesterday where I was dominating.
I had a Rageblade, BT, GA 3 star Vayne with noble and ranger buff behind a line of beefy tanks.
Literally got chain stunned and I mean chain stunned to death by someone running Glacial.
Glacial is cancer
Merc treads, but I would kill for a return of Zephyr....
No, you need to learn to use your brain and deploy a heavy frontline
