I cant fathom how I can get first place 2 matches in a row and then get 7th and almost lose ALL of which i gained from the previous matches [zombie-brand-clap]

Same I think rito found they accidentally promoted too many players into diamond/plat so they trying to demote some

i think its just cuz the matchmaking is weird af but i agree i lose like 60 and gain 35 8th-1st

I agree. It seems that you gain/lose RP based on which place you get which is a bit harsh. A better approach would be for it to be based on rounds won/lost.

I'm guessing you're high gold-ish in rank, same as me. It's just the way the climb works my guy. Getting toward Plat and above, the gain margins are even smaller for winning. We have to maintain the high average finishing rank to continue to climb.
