Ferris Wheel Mechanic is Bad

Please, remove this stupid idea from TFT. All it does is create more RNG to the game and has 0 to do with skill or strategy. Especially in late game when it's only 2 people left. What good does it do when the item or character you need ends up right next to the other player as you both get released even though they're slightly ahead?

The RNG is already overwhelming in the game. Please remove this mechanic and do something else.

I think the randomness is what allows some variety in what could otherwise be a highly uniform, optimized experience.

There is so little strategy in TFT its more like a tower defence, Chess-Go take strategy TFT is pure RNG, i put random items on random champs and they carry me, i dont like it

Everyone: "RNG makes for an unhealthy environment!"

Riot: Adds teamfight tactics

Everyone: "The amount of RNG in this is problematic"

edit: nvm, there it is

The Ferris Wheel can stay, but every other Ferris wheel we should also head on over to a shop of some sort.

1 random item for free OR 1 random champ for free OR 1 champ w/ item for purchase. People 4th place and lower will see 2 items, 2 champs, 2 combos on offer and can pick 1.

Maybe have shop only champs with a wider offering to get 2 and 3 stars. Or maybe theme them say Pick 1 out of 3 blademasters, or 1 out of 3 Yordles, etc. Could even theme the entire shop, roll a Mage Shop = mage items + magic oriented champs.

It would make it less infuriating to not only be punished for playing well, but also makes it less painful to watch all the good items and champs that fit into your build be taken by people who then die the next couple rounds.

In any case, this is the most enjoyable auto chess esque game I've played yet - but needs a bit more to keep it interesting.

How about separating the champs from the items and putting them on opposite sides? With everyone in the middle and letting them out one at a time. That could maybe give you more options for people and minimize the RNG factor? Providing some choice with a small amount of RNG could make for more strategy involved mechanics.
