TFT Magical Christmas Land Blademaster Gunslinger Shenanigans

Ok, so I see a lot of people going Gunslingers with Graves as the carry, and that's all fine and good, but hear me out. 6 Blademaster 4 Gunslinger LucianLucian carry.

Theory behind the build

My understanding of Lucian is that his mana ability causes him to dash and then perform 2 AUTO ATTACKS. This means those can proc Gunslinger, and Blademaster extra autos. In magical Christmas land this means if every target is in range this means you get 2 autos(autos from your dash), plus how ever many autos you get from Gunslinger(usually 6-8 by the time the build gets going) times 2 since you got 2 autos from your dash, plus 2 extra autos on every target from Blademaster for every target. This means every dash gives you (8+8)*3(first dash auto, plus 7 Gunslinger targets, plus second auto, plus Gunslinger targets, times 3 because every target will get hit a total of 3 times with Blademaster plus the original hits), or 48 autos. This is if Gunslinger autos, and Blademaster autos can't trigger of each other, which seems to be the case. It seems like one triggers, then the other.

This is magical Christmas land. With Gunslinger being a 45% chance, and Blademaster being 50% chance it is more likely that, assuming 8 targets total, and assuming Gunslinger s 50% as well for easy math you get 2 autos from your dash attacks, 1 auto on every other unit in range, and 1 extra auto on every unit in range which would be 2+6+7 or 15 autos on average every dash. These extra Gunslinger, and Blademaster autos seem to give mana, so after your first attack or 2 you will dash after every set of attacks. My testing has seems to show this may be bugged. It doesn't look like every auto is doing the damage it should, but honestly the attacks are so fast I can't be 100% sure.

Things to keep in mind

I have played this comp a lot, and it is beyond busted, in good and bad ways.

First off, its honestly a pain in the ass to get going, and IF I actually get it going i usually stabilize at sub 25 hp.

Second you need to either get a bow, or a spatula on the firs carousel. This build can use upwards of like 8 bows and like 2 spatulas if you wanna get crazy.

Third off, you basically don't have a front line because you will hyper roll for 3 start Trist, Lucian, and Graves. Ideally you want a 3 star Lucian, but if I'm being honest, this basically never happens. I usually grit my teeth and have a 3 star Lucian with a 3 star Trist or Graves.

How to do it

Ideally after krugs you hyper roll, get that 2 start Lucian, a 3 star Trist/Graves and 2 star of the other, and grab a GP and pyke along the way.

After the next PVP round, you are lvl 5 and you can have Gunslinger pirates. Pretty standard start.

Next you look for random Shens, Aatroxs, Fioras, GPs, and if you get really lucky a Draven or Yas(obviosly pick up Gunslingers as well). Don't roll for them, but if you see them pick them up. We are trying to eco back to 50+ gold with the pirate buff here.

As you level up throw some random Blademasters in which ever are 2 star, or whatever are the highest cost that you have. You are likely going to lose, and tank a lot of life in this phase.

Once you hit 50+ gold you start spending excess gold on levels. at level 7 the build really turns on as GP is a Gunslinger and Blademaster, so with 1 more Blademaster on the field, and the Bork on your Lucian you get 4 Gunslinger, and 3 Blademaster buff. This means your Lucian has a 45% chance to auto everyone in range, and a 50% chance for autos to trigger another attack on that target. Ideally at this point you also have a Rapid Fire Cannon on your Lucian so every unit is in range. At level 6 your comp should look like Lucian Tristana Gangplank Pyke Graves Shen and Fiora/ Aatrox

You really need the pyke for the pirate buff to keep you in the game and eco back.

Now you try to get to lvl 8 and get 3 more Blademaster's on the field. In my experience the front line is like 90% negligible. Your Lucian will just solo carry the game. I have won games with 4 1 stars on the field. And these were not close games. Once you are 8, drop the Pyke right on his head, and throw on your other Blademasters. This gives your Lucian the craziness. He will look like he is having a seizure, then dash, then have another seizure, and he will 1vInfinity because he will just dodge everyone. The third item on your Lucian for maximum dominance is either shiv, since on average you will get 5 shiv procs per dash, or Bloodthirster/Gunblade to really be immortal. Runans is also an option, and will probably be the better option post buff that makes it spawn a ghost of your character. In this comp I really like my Trist to have red buff and Rapid Fire Cannon and in magical christmas land she has a supporty type item and she is a support character. Here your comp will look like Lucian Tristana Graves Gangplank Aatrox Shen Draven Yasuo ideally. Screw Fiora, unless you happen to 3 star her while rolling for your earlier stuff too.

Best Items

Lucian Lucian

item 3153 item 3094 and item 3087 / item 3072 / item 3085

Tristana Trist(support)

item 3094, and Red Buff are musts, then you get into your optional last supporty item. Cursed Blade, Zekes, Sword Breaker, item 3046, item 3124 are things to consider

Everyone else you just want tanky stuff for the most part

Summary

As you can see, this build depends on a pretty large amount of RNG on both items, and character rolling. Its a rough build to get online, but once it is It is probably the only god tier build in the game. A Lucian that can auto once, then dash, then attack 15 times getting infinite life steal, or do crazy damage with shiv is just silly. I wanted to make this post so that I had somewhere that I could say that I did this. I think I'm the first one to do this, but not 100% sure. I have seen other Blademaster gunslinger builds, but I don't think any are this dumb. It is the magical Christmas land team.

Thanks for reading. :)

Please let me know if you have any suggestions to improve it, if you think I'm the dumbest person to walk the earth, or the maddest scientist to live.

Well while it is interesing, getting this kind of build is situational to begin with, as is most things with TFT. Praise RNGesus amirite?

Anyways, here's how some stuff works:

Blademaster Blademasters have 35% chance on every attack to attack an additional 1/2 time(s).

How it actually works: Every attack they have a chance to max attack speed for 1/2 attacks. They will attack the same target with this. This can proc on itself, meaning they will keep max attack speed for another 1/2 attacks.

Gunslinger Gunslingers have 50% chance on every attack to attack an additional target, either one random target or all other enemies in range.

How it actually works: Every attack they have a chance to max attack speed until they hit one other/all targets in range. This will switch their main target. This cannot proc on itself until the target/all targets are hit once.

This is why you see them go nuts with their attacks.

As for Lucian: Lucian dashes and attacks an enemy twice.

How it actually works: Lucian dashes and attacks an enemy. The first attack does physical damage. The second attack does magic damage. This counts as one attack only, and does not repeat in the event of a gunslinger/blademaster buff.
