I've been trying to play on the PBE because TFT looks super fun, but because of the absurd 20 hour estimated que times I've decided I'm just going to give up on playing it. I feel like riot should have realized how popular this was going to be and better prepared the server for it. it sucks that so many people can't experience it because of this issue.
its a PBE server dude, its beta, do you know what that means?
Its not intended for mass consumption.
It's not just that a lot of people are trying to get on, it's that a lot of people who did get on aren't closing their client and just leaving it open, taking a spot because they want to be able to go back and play whenever they want. That, and there isn't anything in place to kick AFK client users off the server for other people to join. Honestly, I wish there were something like that available, if you leave the PBE client open for an hour without doing anything it kicks you off, but that just isn't feasible right now. It's unfortunate, but TFT will be on live on the next patch (From what I've read) so it'll only be a few days now.
