Hey, I'm Eddiez!

I'm tired of pressing f5 on the boards and /r/teamredditteams looking for that one spot in a team that I don't know if the players are serious, if I would fit the team dynamic, or if we have common goals. I know I am not the only person in this situation.

I'm looking to build a Club that is going to have an application to get in. I want to make sure that this community has players who are dedicated to being a positive influence on others and promote improvement.

I'm looking for players that are:

  1. Focused on improving
  2. Positive towards others
  3. Motivated to become better
  4. Committed to practicing
  5. Able to enjoy the process of improving.

I myself have taken large strides in the past months to improve myself as a player and I want to share what I've done to improve with others. I want others to share with me what they have done to improve and get better so together, we can improve as a club.

Please take this time to fill out this short application and I will respond below!

IGN: Rank: Discord: Headset and Mic; Role(s): What is something you've done to help you improve or get better at the game? Name a time you made a mistake that wasn't obvious and how you managed to overcome it.

Thank you everyone who has made it this far into the post! I look forward to seeing your application below and hope you have a great night! Thanks for taking your time!

IGN: l am eternal (L AM ETERNAL) Rank: Diamond 5 Discord: Eternal#6325 Headset and Mic; yes Role(s): Support primary, mid off What is something you've done to help you improve or get better at the game? Transitioning from mid to support, and in particular, from mage supports to tank supports. I got to diamond exclusively playing xerath and velkoz in one particular pattern - I would win games by chilling in lane under tower and avoiding deaths and planning to win the game by out teamfighting the opposing midlaner. It worked okay for the champions I was playing, but doesn't work so well for the champions I now play primarily such as Braum and Taric. Learning this new role consisted of a lot of trial and error - I dropped to plat 5 in the process. It took many games of seeing how powerful each tank champion is at various stages of the game to bring my knowledge of how to play tanks to my level of playing my selected midlane mages.

Name a time you made a mistake that wasn't obvious and how you managed to overcome it. Warding as a support - I tended to place a vast majority of my wards over a game on a single side of the map. While this is necessary during certain stages of the game like laning phase, it took a friend pointing it out to me to change my warding habits. I now spend most of my active thought during a game about ward placement, asking questions like could happen in the next three minutes and how the enemy team will use the map to create an advantage.

What is something you've done to help you improve or get better at the game? Used replay services to analyze and break down mistakes I make in games.
From what happened at each death to what happened in each teamfight, and how my positioning could've been improved.

Name a time you made a mistake that wasn't obvious and how you managed to overcome it. My lane phase used to be incredibly weak, i would step back each time because I had no trust in my soloqueue supports, it took a lot of work to overcome and learn to play aggressively in spite of not knowing who I lane with. I learned to do that in fives teams working with various different styles and what not.

IGN: GLOCK IN MY AHRI Rank: Diamond 5 Discord: Yes Headset and Mic; Yes Role(s): ADC/SUPPORT What is something you've done to help you improve or get better at the game? Put in more time, taken things more serious. Willing to admit my mistakes, learn from others. Name a time you made a mistake that wasn't obvious and how you managed to overcome it. I used to miss a lot of cs and not think too much of it but now I tend to cs with ease.

IGN: Same as here Rank: Dia v Discord: Yes Headset and Mic; Yes Role(s): Bot/Mid What is something you've done to help you improve or get better at the game? I am extremely passionate over Ranked 5's and the team atmosphere.

Name a time you made a mistake that wasn't obvious and how you managed to overcome it: No one is perfect, mistakes happen every game, if you didn't 100% play perfectly in a certain scenario then you essentially have or had something you could have improved. (ex. you miss a skillshot in a gank that could have resulted in a kill for you and your teammate)

If a mistake is made however or pointed out it's best to admit it and move forward wanting to constantly improve.
