I am a bronze player who is trying to figure out a role for them to fit in. playing jungle as of now but just doesn't seam to be my thing not sure if its my play style or the place i am at this time. would like any advice to others on trying to find a role that i could fit in. Prefer people that aren't in bronze because many of them are also finding their main lane. I am wanting to improve in the game but playing every role or playing 1 role incorrectly inst teaching me much at this time. NOT LOOKING TO GET CARRIED JUST ADVICE FROM WHAT HELPED OTHERS FIGURE OUT THEIR ROLE. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I'd say take 2-5 games and play each role (excluding Jungle since you mentioned you're not feeling it). Then whatever role clicked with you is probably your main role. I know a lot of people don't have a "main" role. But if you find a main role you're more likely to climb. However I think you should have the feel for different champions too in each role.

It all depends on your playstyle. I got to diamond by focusing on what I was good at personally. You just need to play around in every lane and figure out what you like.

Top- Mainly focused on 1v1 and csing. You want to be able to play fighters, as well as some tanks. Good map awareness is important as you usually have teleport and engage for the team. A lot of champ diversity top, usually somewhat snowbally.

Jungle- Focuses on macro and game knowledge. You don't need to be good at csing, just knowing when to gank and how to duel and take objectives. More "laid back" in my opinion, and is best for people that want to carry the team to victory through strategy or just dominating the other jungler.

Mid- Focuses on mechanics and being able to use the map. This is probably the most demanding role, because you need to be able to cs well, harass the enemy, avoid ganks and roam. Good champ diversity also, but very volatile lane. If you are more about mechanics and winning your lane or roaming, mid is best

ADC- If you like to 1v5 or teamfight really well, adc is best. Focuses on CSing and teamfight positioning. Somewhat demanding role for the more flashy player that likes to be able to kill everyone, but can suck if you fall behind.

Support- Likes focusing on helping the team. Essentially a jungler that focuses on vision and peeling/engaging. Not that demanding, but you need to have decent game knowlege and know how to start fights or peel, and ward.

Although I am currently bronze, I have been silver on a few occasions. Never played much in ranked, though I do have tons of experience in the game with years of play. Honestly, jungle is a really fun role. My best advice is to play normals for a while. Really get to know your few main champions. During that time, really gain a better understanding of enemy champions. Not only out of game, but in game as well. While most players follow a certain style of play. Almost all have their own individual and unique ways of playing. With that said, the next best way to gain a grip on the jungle is warding. Understanding where wards give the best vision, where they're hidden, and if the enemy team is using them or not can give you a good heads up on were to avoid (until you can remove the wards) or attack from. Furthermore, warding can really help you understand where the enemy jungle moves, and how often they go from area to area. Another tip I can give, is that when you gank a lane, be sure its pushed towards your benefit. And make sure your team mates know you're coming in. You're going to need their help most of the time. Pinging once or even twice doesn't give a whole lot of attention. So before you run in (which i tend to do often (my demise)) let them know who to target, where you're coming from, and how soon you will be there. One last bit of advice, is that you have to make predictions in the outcomes of battle. you're not going to save every turret, every team mate, and you're definitely not going to be able to win ever game. However, if you keep your cs up, gain a greater understanding of the game, and gain some experience, you might just end up winning most games.

p.s. I've won plenty of games with jungle by just making decisions that go against the grain. For example, in few occasions (this has a 50% chance) my team was failing, pushes to the inner turrets, and no focus on anything but an impending loss. I made the decision to split push the lane. When I noticed the team turned around I ran to save my hide. This continued until I was able to build up enough currency, purchase the items needed to hold my ground, and continue to push. My team must have seen what I was doing, and then followed by example. I went from being in the negative to almost 30 kills that game. Including the nexus. This doesn't always work, but its the decisions I made that game that helped my team take the win. When you make a decision, stand your ground. And never give up or surrender. Im sure you'll get it eventually :)

It's all really just trial and error, keep playing different lanes and see which ones you like to play the most that goes with your playstyle. And when you do find that lane you want to play, I recommend sticking to a couple champions that you enjoy playing instead of switching around too much
