Epitychia NA is currently searching for players of all roles to fulfill it's roster! Epitychia,(A word meaning Success) is a team dedicated to the molding of it's players into professional material. On a mechanical, awareness, and teamwork level, Epytichia is dedicated to creating an environment where it's players can grow. Currently looking for talented, passionate players, intelligent, clairvoyant coaches, and a manager/owner to keep the team rolling after our current owner (Me) joins the starting lineup, if you are looking for a legitimately serious team, and have the play to back it up, You needn't look farther.

          Our mindset is that any player, no matter how out of their element and unaware they may be can become great if they have what truly matters; Passion. We are looking for players who are in love with the game and can seriously put in the time and effort needed to become great. Players who understand, yes, this isn't about being bored, and yes, sometimes it's gonna be hard, and even if you want to give up, you are so invested and want it so deeply that you won't. 

   Other than that, camaraderie is extremely important to making a unit. Our players will end up being (Hopefully best) friends, and need to be able to tolerate each other by default. If there is no synergy in the roster then there will be changes until the team can play harmoniously. Understand that, as we need PASSIONATE players, this passion may some day turn into frustration and perhaps an argument will break out. People who spend a lot of time together day by day end up arguing and this is perfectly normal, and our team players must be able to treat it as so. Holding grudges is VERY immature.

Answer everything to the best of your ability, all blanks need to be filled in order for the application to be taken seriously. You will be added ingame for a tryout date when enough people apply. All players higher than plat 3 are guaranteed a tryout position.

On a less serious note, since I know all of that was very business like, keep in mind an important part of creating a unit is friendship :) Leave a joke below if you are feeling it!

For those looking into the coaching section.

For a coach, I need someone who can put everyone on the same page by defining our team's playstyle based on our individual strengths/weaknesses. You will need to be able to look over at least 2-3 games with me and the rest of the starting roster every practice day. Informing players on how pick/ban phases should work out in order to compliment our game plan is also going to be important. Basically, everything that you can think of that is a coaches job. You will literally be in control of just about everything when it comes to our identity.

Last, but certainly not least, I need someone to hand over the manager/owner title to. Pretty simple, all you have to do is update the team's social media occasionally, keep an eye out for roster subs/ replacements when I am too busy to do it any longer due to being in the starting lineup, and schedule us for tournaments/LAN events if we all live in the same area (Southern California). Oh, and since Epytichia will probably just be a placeholder, you get to come up with a cool name and logo! >:)

1.What makes you think you can fit into Epitychia?: If theres one thing I dont lack its passion, Ive always been a team player, and thrive in those enviroments

2.If you had one word to describe yourself, what would it be?: Reliable

  2. What are your strengths as a player?: Fast Learner, Map Awareness, Absolutely love the game,

  3. Name multiple weaknesses. My playstyle can change vastly depending on the champ, tanks/engages I can sometimes be overzealous, while sustain or safe champions I can be a bit too methodical, While I usually have great map awareness for the enemy, in soloq I have a tendency to not realize a persons in base(since I cant really see them on the map in the corner)

  4. Do you become insecure when faced with those weaknesses? Not usually, though I can go on a slight tilt if I keep making stupid mistakes but I can usually shake it off later in the game

9.Is your champion pool dense? If not, will you still be able to conform to new patches? I can pretty much play any champion, I learn them extremly fast, only takes one game for me to perform at a decent level.

1.What makes you think you can fit into Epitychia?: Sounds like a good step towards a long standing Ranked 5's team with good set up and organization with a goal in mind. Just the thing I would be interested in being apart of and working to help grow and become better.

2.If you had one word to describe yourself, what would it be?: Calm

3.If you had one word to describe your relationship with League of Legends, what would it be?: Personal

4.If you had the chance to get to the top, given the proper guidance, understanding the effort it would take, would you?: Yes I would take the chance and try my best to work hard to achieve this.

  1. Do you play well with others? Or are you a solo queue player looking to become more diverse: I have played with multiple teams. I play well with others. Very positive influence and attitude on the teams i've played with. I normally try to focus my play for more situated team play such as Ranked 5's.

  2. What are your strengths as a player?: Team-oriented play, Flexible Playstyle, Good at following calls, Tons of knowledge, able to take criticism, very passionate player, vocal, positive attitude and great mentality

  3. Name multiple weaknesses: Can become over-agressive and tunnel (In Lane), Not the best map awareness from time to time, Not the best CS-ing, and decent in terms of mechanics

  4. Do you become insecure when faced with those weaknesses? No it's apart of what will make me play better as I improve as a player. Realizing these weaknesses is just the first step to solving them.

9.Is your champion pool dense? If not, will you still be able to conform to new patches?

  1. Are you going to crack under pressure?: Not too sure depends on the situation and when it happens.

  4. Is your champion pool dense? If not, will you still be able to conform to new patches? My champion pool is quite wide. Always adapting to the meta and learning new champions to work with my team.

  5. Time zone/availability?: EST, Tuesday-Thursday after 6pm and All Day Friday-Monday

  7. Have you ever played on a team that wasn't all of your casual friends or that disbanded after the first loss?: Yes I have played on multiple teams that have fell apart, but also for Season 4 had played on a team that lasted through the whole season and made it to Plat 1 before disbanding

1.What makes you think you can fit into Epitychia?: I have a lot of qualities that were listed that would make me a great for this team, I have a well rounded personality and get along with just about any one. strong leader ship as well to help lead the team in game.

  1. Do you play well with others? Or are you a solo queue player looking to become more diverse: I play well with others I have been in the competitive 5s team for about a year now cant find a stable team but meet a lot of people I get along with almost any one.

What are your strengths as a player?: my over all game knowledge of league, I spend hours a day watching coaching videos, streams, and any thing else to improve my play, I have great game sense, have been shot call for past teams so I have a lot of leadership experience that increases my play. I have high level map awareness and know how to position well.

  3. Name multiple weaknesses. most of m weaknesses come along with the position I play in game ( ADC). when ahead I get over aggressive best way I explain this would be if you know who UZI is I have a play style like his and can get me in trouble.

9.Is your champion pool dense? If not, will you still be able to conform to new patches? I have a high range champ pool for the role I play, I adapt to meta changes quickly and easily

  1. Are you going to crack under pressure? no like I said I have lead teams in the past and one thing about being a leader is to stay calm, I am always looking for what to do next for us to win game even in a stressful environment.

  5. Time zone/availability?: I am PST currently a college student last semester have a month left, Monday and Wednesdays I have a late class from 6-830pm PST, other wise im free any time before or after and open Tuesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday.

  7. Have you ever played on a team that wasn't all of your casual friends or that disbanded after the first loss?: yes I think the longest I was on a team before having a fall out was 2 months.

17: Are you a leader? yes like I have said I have shot called, lead and managed a few teams in the past, I have a lot of experience with that, I take time out my day when studying or doing any thing else to study league not just my position but every thing else so I can help my team improve give them tips show them what we can improve on as a team and as individuals.

2.If you had one word to describe yourself, what would it be?: Energetic

3.If you had one word to describe your relationship with League of Legends, what would it be?: Loving

4.If you had the chance to get to the top, given the proper guidance, understanding the effort it would take, would you?: Absolutely.

  1. Do you play well with others? Or are you a solo queue player looking to become more diverse: I've always enjoyed team environments and the camaraderie that comes with it. I love being part of a whole to get to a big end goal.

  2. What are your strengths as a player?: I've got a deep champion pool and like to think of myself as a tactician. I can understand what's happening to the map and make calls based on what's happening.

  3. Name multiple weaknesses. I get greedy for kills which has caused me to throw a few games. When I get behind I have been known to get salty. Improper time management is something that I need to work on.

  4. Do you become insecure when faced with those weaknesses? If addressed immediately after a game I do. I typically need a quick water break to calm down, collect my thoughts, and then I'll be ready to listen to criticism. If in practices, I can take it right away.

9.Is your champion pool dense? If not, will you still be able to conform to new patches? I have a deep champion pool. I can adjust rather well.

  1. Are you going to crack under pressure? No. I've actually done better with it there.

1.What makes you think you can fit into Epitychia?: I'm a very competitive and organized player. If the player position on a team is unavailable I would be willing to manage any teams you have. I am experienced and can get the job done.
