[OPEN TRYOUTS] Academy Program (D3+ pool)
I will be hosting open tryouts for a private academy team. This is a PRIVATELY FUNDED affiliation program targeted towards talented individuals who are dedicated towards thriving in a team environment at a highly competitive level. The program's primary purpose is to grant the opportunity for undeveloped players to gain the experience and necessary skill to compete at a semi-professional to professional level of play.
This is a rigorous training program that is **NOT ** designed for players that cannot commit to set scheduling.
**PLEASE DO NOT ADD YOUR NAME TO THE REGISTRATION LIST IF YOU HAVE AN EVENT THAT CHRONICALLY CONFLICTS WITH SCHEDULING. **
The general meeting time is 5:30 PM EST, everyday of the week (scrims, tournaments and events may vary).
While this tryout is open for any and all players, WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE THAT YOU DO NOT ATTEMPT A TRYOUT IF YOU ARE UNDER D3. We have had exceptions in the past where even D5 and below players were able to compete and excel towards the required level, however, this pool is very, very small.
The Academy is limited to 12 reserved spots. Of those 12 spots, only 10 of those will be assigned to a scrim blocks, tournaments and immediate direct tier coaching. Of those 10, only 5 will receive full emphasis on rapid progression and recommendation towards dedicated competitive venues.
PLEASE BE AWARE: SOME PLAYERS ARE ALREADY ASSIGNED A RESERVED SEAT. WE ARE NOT LOOKING TO FILL ALL 12 SEATS.
Program expectations:

Players will arrive in the Discord channel **10 MINUTES PRIOR ** to the arranged meeting time. Failure to do so will result in instantaneous removal from the program. 'Failure to attend' must be reported to a coordinator 3 HOURS prior to the arranged meeting time.

Toxicity, bullying and slander will not be tolerated.

Players must be able to ACTIVELY LISTEN AND OBEY any and all requests from authority figures (on and off the Rift).

Players are expected to give a 100% effort during practices, scrims, and tournaments.

PLAYERS THAT ARE UNABLE TO MEET THE STANDARDS OF THE PROGRAM WILL BE REMOVED.

This program is designed to provide structure and foundation. Results depend on the player's willingness and individual determination. Many of our previous players have moved on towards CS/LCS teams (and beyond) while many have failed to be directed anywhere.
