Bronze Support looking for tips

Well, from the top of my head here are some support tips:

*As a tank support (Blitz, Nautilus, Taric) your objective is to find an opening to engage to a priority target (adc or poke support), while positioning to avoid being poked to death. You are highly dependent on your acd to capitalize on your engages, and there is a high chance that the adc gets a kill if he/she does

*As a poke support (Sona, Karma, Lulu), you need to land your abilities to the enemy team to make them lose health and recall, giving your adc a gold advantage. Stay at a safe distance, and evade being engaged by tank supports.

*Unless you have Runic Shield, do not hit minions that are below half health. You will just mess up the adc that is trying to last-hit them.

*Don't let your adc roam by themselves after the laning phase, since they are likely gonna get killed. Warn them to stick to a teammate, or stick with them.

*The best way to climb in ranked is to play with at least one friend that knows how to play. You can strategize better, it reduces the chance you get paired up with a bad player or a troll, and it's overall more fun.
