Level VI

Level VI is a North American, competitive based League of Legends team. We are currently hosting tryouts for any interested players so long as you meet the following requirements. We are casually exploring the competitive scene and have no plans, as of yet, to develop our team beyond that of a casual, schedule-based practice and rank oriented team. Our plan however, does include multiple practice times throughout a daily work-week, invested interest in ranked matches, continuous communication, and possible transportation to and from local/international competitive tournaments. Thank you for your interest in our team and we hope all the best to any interested candidates for Level VI!

I've attached the document to this discussion for you to read and fill out. You must send your application to the following email... [email protected]

Also, if you have any questions or you decide to submit your application to us, please let me know within this discussion.

Good luck :)

If its casual then why the formality of a 3 party ememaito send in applications. Why can't I just posted an app here?

It's casual yeah, but it's better to have a nice clear picture as to what we are looking for. That way less questions are asked and you have a better understanding of what we are looking for :)

If you are interested... please send an email to me, with the 9 questions answered, and we can set something up!

Thanks a bunch!

What rank is this team even supposed to be? Unless it is a full diamond/masters/challenger team then this strict tryout / practice schedule will never work out. I have participated in many many ranked teams and they all end up going the same way, we finish our placement matches and then never hear from each other again.

The only ranked teams that stand a chance of surviving past placement matches are those with close friends or a high elo team actually gunning for a spot in the lcs.

This is a pre-season team. Preparing for season 5.

As this is our first ranked team, we're not holding out on being what we are not, and that being high-elo players. We actually participated very little in season 4, and most of our matches consist of team builder/blind picks.

With that being said, I have lead many groups and guilds in previous games, with experience in everything you've mentioned from lack of communication to close friends ect.

This is a casual team, but we are looking for players who are serious about participating in a casual team. That means being involved and working as hard as everyone else to comply with a goal of having fun, and if we are good enough, then sure maybe some day we get to the LCS, but that is not what we are focusing on.

We want you to enjoy playing the game more than anything, but also doing this with cool players, if this isn't something you are interested in then don't worry about it :) Every one has their own want's but we make no promises as to where we will end up, just enjoy the game and the people you play with, and if it happens it happens.

I'd also like to point out, that even though we are casual, the casual aspect is there because the current members of lvl6 have other life obligations that keep us from participating in real pro-league environments. That includes playing the game 12-14 hours a day, every day.

Instead we focus on doing what we can, when we can. We don't plan on playing our provisional matches until we are prepared either.. that means lots of practice in team-builder matches preseason. Coming up with strategies, building good team comps, learning the ranked environment along side each other.

Really, our team is built for players who want to learn these things, versus players who are looking for the best team on the market.
