Mastering The Meta: Recruiting Members
Mastering The Meta is a team designed by myself and tromboneist, and is based around experimenting with team comps and champion picks and bringing them up to competitive levels. Basically, even if something isn't meta, if we think it will work we'll practice it and make it work out well. For now we are trying to keep things simple by making a ranked 5's team that focuses on climbing the ladder and competing in tournaments if possible. If interested, either reply here or add DarkeChampion or tromboneist in-game and message us (our IGN's are as they appear here). We are looking for people around our elo in order to keep this balanced, so in order to join the team you must be at least Silver 5 and Gold 5 at most. I'll update this post as necessary to show what positions we are looking for.

As an added note, we are not technically looking for the best skilled players for each role. Since this is a team, the players that we accept will be the ones that we feel mesh well with us and our styles. As such, each role is treated as an audition where me, tromboneist, and two of our available friends will try out any applicants in about 2-3 normal draft games. The results of the game will not impact whether or not the player gets accepted, instead we'll focus on how well we can play together as well as how they handle the different situations of the game. Also, bot lane duo's will be able to audition together if they so choose considering how ADC and Support are relatively dependent on each other during lane, and even after laning phase. One last thing is that each applicant is required to use Curse Voice in order to communicate with us. Auditions will be held on weekends, and the time varies based on different circumstances. Applicants will be messaged beforehand, and if accepted to the team they will be invited to Mastering The Meta in-game, and we will also update the page here. There is no set cutoff date for the auditions, but when the main roster is accepted I will update this post to clarify that auditions are over.
