Freya Esports building a tournament/series!

Freya Esports is an up and coming community of 195 people at the time of this posting. Currently we have several teams of community members and a couple serious teams.

I am a team manager and mechanics coach, and I have asked and been approved to start a community tournament/series. The thing is, we need more people to join and get together for the teams.

Each team itself will have their own requirements and practice schedules, but the tournament/series will be every week (days TBD).

We're looking for 8 teams total for round robin style play. For now we don't offer any prize pool, and we won't ask for an entrance fee.

To join all you have to do is sign up on freya.vbulletin.net. The tournament is still in the works, but it is still going to happen.

Even if you don't want to join a team, the community is open to all who wish to join.

The community also has goals for expansion. At 1,000 members we will invest in our own website and domain name, and by that time we will most likely have prizes for the tournaments.

I'm the captain of an all girls team and we're interested in being a part of a community where we can participate in tournaments and receive coaching.

4 of us have been playing together for 6-7 months now and we're currently trying out people for the 5th position. Our "main" ranked 5s team is Silver 1 currently, but we spend most of our gameplay on teams that we trash after we do placements because we don't yet have a 5th member. We already have a set team schedule and all of us work or go to school, or both, so there's not much room for us to deviate from that.

We should be able to participate on weekend events.

I recently joined this community and I am currently making guides over time on support champs (plat 4 support main) and after the first one I have gotten positive feedback within the day by multiple people and it's nice to see what people think about my opinion. So far great time in the community. :)
