Currently Looking For A Support Main

Are you sick and tired of grinding solo Q yet you have the tenacity to work diligently, on a day-to-day basis as a team with others?

Welcome to the (Team Name TBD) application forum post. Before we dive in I am going to be looking at the applications that are in depth, those are the ones that count to me, and shows that people care. This will be a team with serious goals and structure but with a casual/friendly team atmosphere. We will be competing in online tournaments on a weekly basis. Please take your applications seriously as we are looking for like-minded people who can commit to the requirements we ask of you. Down below are the requirements, so check if we are right for you. Roles Currently Open -Support

In the application state what kind of player you are in that position (Examples) -Mid: As a mid laner I like to roam as much as possible to get my team fed because I know they can carry -Mid: As a mid laner I play support type champions like Lulu, Karma, and Orianna. I love to make good plays for my team that I know they can follow up on.

Those are just some examples. I would like to see a description on how you like to play your lane, so I can see if you are fit for a team I'm looking for.

Requirements

You are at the rank Gold 5 or above. You are at or above the age of 17 You are able to use/download any communication software You are fine with meeting new people. (Not shy, annoying, mean, etc) You are willing to communicate, try your hardest, and can take/give constructive criticism well. You will respect all members of the team at all times. *Dedication

What I would like in players:

•Ability to handle loses, learn from them, and move on. •Good personality •Ability to practice at least 4x a week •Ability to take criticsm/give criticsm without offending someone/being offended. •Not too-tense, easy to get along with.

What I DO NOT want in players:

•ANY form of toxicity •Raging •Hostility •Quitter/"give up" mentality

What You can expect from me as the team captain Watch, Record and Take Notes of our Replays Set us up with Scrims Enter us in Tournaments Actively find us a coach. Do you watch LCS or anything competitive often: I often watch the LCS and constantly watch the world championships.

Able to download communication software: Yes. Timezone: EST How much do you play League of Legends weekly: I play league of legends just about everyday. At the least 3 hours a day.

What Times/days would you not be available: I would not be available Friday nights, from 6pm-4am.

What do you look for in a team: What I look for in a team, is consistency and camaraderie. I'd like to find a team of people to get better and enjoy League of Legends with. Go on a journey with people I know on a constant basis. Grow as better players, develop inside jokes, become loyal with each other, and have fun.

What can you bring to the team: What I can bring to the team is unity. My attitude and philosophies on life and League of Legends prevents arguments and disorder among people. I guess the real world equivalent to me would be, I am a good friend and diplomat. I avoid fights between people at all costs.

What makes you stand out from other players: My adaptability. I may not be a great all-roles League of Legends player due to my lack of ranked game experience on non-support roles, but I fill for the team whenever possible. I'm willing to play any champion on any role for a team I enjoy to be with.

Competitive experience: The only competitive experience I have, is being a mid gold player for a consistent team two League of Legend seasons ago and an in-person local tournament.

Strengths: Adaptive, Honest, and Loyal. In game, I am best at midgame roaming, influencing many areas on the map. Weaknesses: Quiet. It'll take me a while to get used to everyone and be completely communicative with everyone. I prefer counter-attacking than attacking in League of Legends, which seems to be harder to pull off than playing aggressively.

Do you watch LCS or anything competitive often: I watch most Korean and NA LCS matches. Will probably be watching China and maybe some Japan this year as well

Able to download communication software: Yes. Already have Skype and TS installed. Prefer Skype though.

Timezone: Hawaii (GMT -10)

How much do you play League of Legends weekly: I try to play everyday for 2-3 games. On days that I don't have any plans I play upwards of 7 hours.

What Times/days would you not be available: Saturday nights and Monday nights I work a night shift. Also the Super Bowl :D

What do you look for in a team: I look for dedicated players looking to improve together and not just give up after a few bad games. I'm also looking for people who can listen to the shot-caller and not do their own thing. Players need to play for the team. I'm looking for a team for Season 5 because the game feels a lot better when everything is organized and you can easily communicate with your teammates.
It'd also be a plus if I don't play with a passive ADC in lane (depending on the matchup of course). I can play the passive style, but I feel I'm much better suited at the aggressive lanes.

What can you bring to the team: I bring an aggressive lane and solid vision control. I'm very objective focused and like to control the early game flow.

What makes you stand out from other players: I feel like I play above my ELO while playing the support role. As stated above, I control the early game and like to establish vision control. I understand how to close out a game from watching a lot of Korean professional play. Additional answer: I miss skillshots on the scuttle crab when my team is doing it and I'm literally two feet away from it, but manage to steal it when the enemy team is doing it.

Competitive experience: Played on a Ranked 5s team for nearly 7 months, but the roster kept changing and my schedule no longer matched up with the rest of the team's. I play in weekly local tournaments here alongside many master and diamond ranked players.

Strengths: Early game control, aggressive laning, vision control, understand how to close out a game. I also pride myself on my Thresh play.

Weaknesses: Shotcalling from behind, having too aggressive of a mindset in the midgame (not chasing, but will try to go for a pick sometimes and teammates won't be on the same page), and I'm still working on my early roaming.

Timezone: est How much do you play League of Legends weekly: around 25 hours What Times/days would you not be available: i usually work nights from 8- 430 on saturdays sundays and thursdays and work 5-1 on tuesday.. schedule changes a little but for the most part its pretty consistent. What do you look for in a team: communication before (i.e. who we want to ban, what kind of team comp) during (calling out timers and deaths and following the calls) and after the game (what can we do better what mistakes were made and how to focus on fixing them). to be able to enjoy playing with the people on my team. What can you bring to the team: i genuinely enjoy supporting lol. and always try to bring my best. What makes you stand out from other players: i'm able to admit my mistakes and stay off tilt. Competitive experience: have played in some rp tournaments, played with a 5's team consisting of plats/diamonds (i was the only gold) Strengths: good wards, play maker, plus good communication (even as strengths i know i can still get better) Weaknesses: i don't have a level up key binding

Positions you can play at a competitive level: Strongest to weakest (Support, ADC, Mid, Top, Jungle) I try to be able to cover the the field if no one wants a role.

Top 3 champions: Soraka, Nami, and Thresh.

Do you watch LCS or anything competitive often: Nope Never want to live in someone else's dream.

Able to download communication software: I can download them all if needed. (might need time to get use to them but i know my way around most of them.)

Timezone: Mountain Time (US & Canada)

How much do you play League of Legends weekly: I can play weekend usually.

What Times/days would you not be available: Well the way I see it if people ask me to do something on a drop, I don't think it is fair for the person or thing I need to do that I have already said I would do at a certain time or date. With the exception of emergency's as well I do let people know if plans change "IF" things come up ahead of time at a decent amount of time.

What do you look for in a team: Hmmm tough question for me. There is a lot but the Number one is The structure of the whole team. Always a bigger picture if you take a step back and look at it.

What can you bring to the team: All honesty from my point of view I don't bring anything, But I see what is needed and work my hardest to cover for it. I guess like kinda find my place.

What makes you stand out from other players: I am a Unorthodox player I invent something new that works for me but synergy with others.

Competitive experience: League XP only solo que ranked. I have played a decent amount pvp based game. Sc2( star craft 2)I was gold in 3v3's world of warcraft I use to hard core raid/ pvp arena ratings 2's 2k, 3's 2.2k, 5's 1.7k. and a list of more strategy games.

Strengths: Map awareness :D Love that tab for dragon timers and setting up for them. Score board for the item builds/counters. Faith in teammates to execute/sacrifice for the team.

Weaknesses: I don't know my weaknesses I have asked but I don't know if people are being nice or don't want to talk about it or just don't know, But I would have to say Too trusting on player calls that I know that will end badly, or a different perspective on things. Depend too much on my skill sometimes it is my biggest weakness I think.
