ABL Series - Amateur LCS-Like League

Calling all players, teams and fans ... The ABL is an amateur League of Legends series. The first season starts on May 2, 2017 and runs until July 25, 2017. Everyone is welcome to join (Bronze, Silver and Gold Ranks), Join here www.ablseries.com

Each team will play a “Best of 3” series once a week (Tuesdays at 8PM EST) against another team for a total of 12 weeks. At the end of the Regular Season, the top 4 teams in each conference will move on to the playoffs and play a “Best of 3” series. Each team has a captain and is responsible for their team’s attendance. If you don’t have the full 5 players at the start of the match, then use a sub or free agent.

General Rules

  • The ABL Series will commence on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017 at 8 PM EST and ends on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017
  • There will be six (6) teams in total
  • Each team consists of five (5) starters and two (2) sub/fill players
  • Each team will play a "Best of 3" series once a week (Tuesdays at 8PM EST) for a total of 12 weeks
  • Team Captains are responsible for ensuring their team is on time and in attendance
  • If you don't have the full 5 players at the start of the match, then use a sub or play Howling Abyss (4 on 4 or 3 on 3)
  • If a player disconnects during a game, their captain can pause the game to allow their player to reconnect
  • Player trades can be conducted between team captains
  • Player trades must be approved by the ABL officials
  • If a player's lack of attendance causes their team to not have a full roster they will be given a warning (one missed game), then a week ban (two missed games), then removed from the ABL (three missed games)
  • Toxic players can be reported to the ABL by contacting us and they will be dealt with accordingly

Players

  • Behave in a respectful manner toward league officials and players and steer clear of any unsportsmanlike conduct
  • Arrive on time and ready for the start of the match
  • Bring any discrepancies in match record to a referee or tournament organizer’s attention immediately
  • Inform us of any discrepancies in the overall match history or rankings as soon as you become aware of it

Team Captains

  • Each team must select a single player as team captain.
  • Captains are the point of contact between the team and league officials
  • Communicate with the league officials on behalf of the team
  • Communicate with other teams on behalf of the team
  • Communicate all required information to the entire team
  • Accurately represent the opinions of the team as a whole
