Looking for a "team" of friends for Let's Plays

Hi all,

I'm looking to put together a "team" of sorts dedicated to having fun and doing Let's Plays.

League is a great game, but the toxicity in it is agonizing. I watch Let's Players on Youtube and see how much fun they're having playing with likeminded friends and figure that I'd enjoy the game more if I were playing with people I knew.

Specifically I'd like to play with people who want to focus on the "fun" aspect of gaming. Of course I want to win like everyone does. But that shouldn't be the focus. It's ok to lose. Why not have five junglers? Or have a team with five people with stuns or poison? I want to play and have a laugh while trying to win and not get flamed just because I'm off meta or I'm having a bad game.

I already run a small time blog, and looking to focus on creating contenting surrounding League. Ideally the other people for this group are amateur Let's Players too. We could either all record each game and just have different perspectives on the same game or we could help each other do videos that are exclusive to each of us (I'm willing to play Soraka as an ADC in your video if you'll jungle Draven in mine for instance).

A bit about me. Male, mid 20's, located in Canada and play on the NA server, leveled in mid 20's. Here's my existing channel (sans League) to see what my commentary style is like: CJ Vs AJ Youtube

We're always looking for gamers as long as you're willing to have fun and don't care about losing. Curse Voice seems to be what most people are using. But if you're interested in just in game chat, that's not a deal breaker either.

I see that you're silver from your other posts. You'd be cool with playing with a bunch of randoms (possibly lower leveled too, I don't want to discriminate if people just want to have fun)?

Do you do Let's Plays? Or is this just something you want to do for fun?

Im fine with any level of player (played with unranked-challenger) and i used to do lets plays before but stopped when i had sports commitments. I look to eventually do some lets plays but for now im down for having fun and doing w/e.

Alright, cool. I'm at work now, but if you want to add me I'm pretty flexible to play over the next few days. Hopefully I can find a few other people and we can try a team builder game and see if we're all copasetic.

I would love to join i have bad internet so my upload speed is really low on my youtube channel i used to record me playing games and also have songs ive made but ive stopped making music I main support but i main non meta supports like shen sejunai and gragas atm im saving up for maokia as a support I have a mic my in game name is HYPERSPEED093 my friend and i used to do fizz viegar bot back before their nerfs have not done it since ive done tf support and sion support i break the meta alot when i support i dont always win but hey who cares anyways i would love to join you it would be nice to have others to talk to while playing here is a video from my youtube channel of a community i used to own for the game district187 but it was shutdown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlCIh_RCuRo

I'm certainly open to giving it a shot. I like that the two responses so far are from previous Let's Players.

Hi Kage. I'm not sure about the others, but I can swear a lot in the heat of the moment, especially for comedic purposes. I don't know if the minimal swearing is something that can be promised

I'd totally be down for this dude, I want to start making let's plays of league because I see how fun it looks with other people :D. Although I don't have a really nice mic, I have the mic from my headphones which are perfect for comunicating but not too good when I listen to recordings.

Also I hope you don't mind that I have a slight accent.

We can give some games a try regardless. If everyone gets along we can test the mic performance as we go. As long as you're understandable through it it's not the biggest issue.

And no, the accent isn't a problem either.
