Also, big difference between Virtual Reality consoles right now and a game that's f2p on PC. VR has been around for a while now, but only just recently has it become ""inexpensive"" enough to start manufacturing and releasing to the public. At an astronomical price twice the value of your typical console, while most folks have at least a laptop to play league on.
Also, I'd imagine playing League in VR could seriously fuck up some people in the head. I know I'd be traumatized after having Darius bring his axe down on my head so many times, and I'd imagine some people wouldn't be able to bring that axe down to begin with, even if it's a button press. League is only able to be so violent because we can detach ourselves very easily. Resident Evil 7 was only feasible because it was us vs. them, not humans vs. humans in first-person VR.
