Get Some Squad (GSS) Community Looking for More!
Heyo! GSS Top Dog here!
With the release of clubs I figured it would be the perfect time to give a little pitch about our up-and-coming community, Get Some Squad.
History
A little history about Get Some as a whole. We started off about 6 years ago through Left 4 Dead 2 and decided to form a solid group of people to play competitively with. We had a pretty large community but it fizzled out gradually with real life obligations. Now, 6 years later, we're looking to re-invigorate that competitive and community drive we all loved so much while also maintaining the relaxing and helpful atmosphere we've kept through our small band of League players.
Who We Are
All in all, we're a tight-knit group of people who just like to have fun and mess around, but also play for keeps when need be. As we expand, we're looking to develop tournaments, foster League team growth, help others (whether that be from a coaching role or just, say, a duo-queue partner), and in general being a backbone for players to always find something to do.
What We Offer
As I've said, this is definitely a start-up community in the sense that we're quite small currently, so if you're looking for that huge, bustling might-as-well-be-a-nation you should look elsewhere, but we are definitely looking for anyone and everyone who has a positive attitude and outlook on gaming and general and would want to help form something new and exciting.
That being said, as it is in the early stages still, we're always open to fresh ideas and will have many spots open in a leadership role going forward if that interests anybody.
