That is not ruining it, that is helping the other team learn about their mistakes as they get beaten and therefor get better. I think smurfs are a great way to teach the bronzeies.
In order for a platinum player to get placed in bronze, it means that player has to have intentionally lost enough games to devalue an account. It means that player has fed, and someone who's willing to feed to get dropped in bronze is probably willing to intentionally feed again, and that's just not OK, even for Bronze.
Grinding rank seriously is boring these days. Theres no point cause dynamic queue removes the feeling of achieving a high rank. More fun to just smurf in low elo and relax.

When diamond players smurf in low elo (bronze/silver) half the shit they do is "wrong" but because they are so good it ends up working. Also, when the skill difference is minimal i agree with you, but in this case, you WILL NOT learn anything. You will get frustrated, you will tilt, and if anything, it will only make you more likely to lose games.
