“Control the controllables.” - Greg Hardin
It’s no use railing against the system, or against circumstance, Harden says. You can only change what’s within.
Harden: “My real obsession is to convince an individual that they have to determine for themselves what sort of man, what sort of woman they want to be. The goal is to make people experts on themselves.”
Straight from Wikipedia by the guy who influenced Tom motherfacking Brady.
Only focus on what you can do better and understand that when you do play well you can still lose a game. You have to identify when you make a good decision or play and when you make a bad one. Getting 3 kills on a tanky top lane doesn't automatically make it a good play. Those kills would help the more item dependent adc than they would you. The best way to see mistakes is this (imo): Watch a high mmr ranked game locked on the player whose position you want to improve, play a game in that position, fake it till you make it, realize you suck, watch another game, note differences between you and them, play another game, fake it till you make it some more, realize why high mmr do what they do, realize when you make mistakes in game as they happen and improve. IMO try to play one position while doing this ( if you need two or three i suggest similarities between the positions like adc and supp, or mid and top, or mid and jung, etc).
1 Mute BRONZE and SILVER. Just do it. No one knows anything. Now that i am out of bronze and silver diamonds prolly think the same about me so this means you have to be constantly learning new things, trying new strategies, experimenting with build paths, and all while not taking the game too seriously. I was never in bronze but when i was in silver 5 I thought silver 5 was dumb. Then I got to silver 3 and it was glorious. Then i thought silver 3 was dumb. Now I think high gold is dumb. Low plat might even be dumber but I dont care. It doesnt matter. People will always play dumb because you will be better than them if you focus on improving yourself.
2 STOP TRYING TO CHANGE THEIR PLAY OR THEIR ATTITUDE. IT CANT BE DONE. dont do it. Its a waste of time. Focus on yourself and be selfish about how much you focus on yourself. Every loss is on you, but that doesn't mean you could have won it. What i mean by that is that once you rise its less about mechanical skill and more about consistency and team comps. Some games are unwinnable. So stop trying to win. Play to improve. That way you can lose and still have improved more than the game you won (but had no impact in).
3 Realize you are good! You are good. There is no difference between you and a diamond or challenger (in terms of potential). The only difference is how naturally it comes to you and how much experience the better players have. Stop thinking your bad and start taking active steps to improving. REALIZE this will not happen overnight.

tl;dr just read it
