Help a smurf out?

Hey guys, I want to start off by saying I did not make an account with the intentions of just wrecking new players or anything like that. I got my main up to level 30 recently, only had 1 1\2 rune pages and had bought a bunch of champs I never use with IP. I was placed in Bronze 1, and quite rapidly dropped down to B3. (1\2 the blame I can give to trolls) But anywho, from there I decided that I was gonna make a new account & By the time I got to 30 I'd have a bit more practice and save up all my ip till then. But now, I'm kinda stuck between a wall and a hard place. I recently played a game with one of my level 30 friends ranked S4, just a normal draft game... And I got OBLITERATED granted, I am only level 17 so no runes and limited masteries, but I couldnt put all the blame there... My gameplay was ratchet too. So, I came to the conclusion that I was infact getting WORSE by playing on a low level account because I don't have to account for warding\teamfights etcc really in low low low elos. So, the point of all this is to hope that some level 30's would care to add me and let me play some normals with them when they're on, to keep me in the groove of actual game play of higher elos and prevent myself from dumbing down even more.

Edit: This guy pretty much spelled it out.

The reason you are getting "worse" is due to the fact that you keep playing with low skill players, so naturally you will start to lose practice because the game isn't challenging anymore. I like to duo with Plat friends because it will help me improve my gameplay since i'm playing against people of higher skill. By playing against people with a higher skill you tend to learn from your mistakes as soon as you make them, because they will exploit your mistake and turn it into a lead. Well all this is from my experience with the game.

TL;DR: Looking to play with level 30s so I don't get rusty while leveling up a smurf (add me)

You're going to be at at disadvantage without runes and a full mastery tree that early anyway, and after lvl 15 you may very well be matched with 30s.

Personally I hate the 1-30 grind because of it.

Leveling a new smurf isn't going to help you improve.

Honestly, no matter how you slice it, if you're looking at a fresh start with a new account to get a better rank it's not even close to worth it, especially since new accoutns are now getting dumped into bronze 4 pretty much by default. those games you're playing now could be ground out on your main, getting you the extra runes you were missing. Also, just because you don't use the champs you bought now doesn't mean you can't learn a few, even urgot, olaf, and zac are scary in the hands of people who know the champs. As it is now, all you're learning is how unbalanced and unfun the game is at those XP levels.

If you truly want to face only people of similar skill level, you really should just grit your teeth and grind your ranked matches, with one difference.

FUCK MMR. Just forget about it. Bronze 5, here you come. Play with the intention of getting better, drop deep wards near their buff, and, yes, make some bad calls: I can tell you for a week that chasing that kill is bad, but you'll learn it fast when the entire enemy team jumps out of a bush. If you do it right, you won't even dip to B5, you'll find yourself at silver promos soon enough.

Good Luck.
