IGN: Artemls* (artemLs)
S5 Rank(or current): Diamond5
Role you are applying for: ADC/Supp
Top champions in that role: Can play all meta supports - Best ADCS: Jinx, Vayne, Kalista
Do you have Shot calling Exp: Yes. Shot called for multiple ranked 5s teams, some serious others more casual, as well as for my College NACC Team.
What are Some of your strengths: An ADC player by trade, I know bot lane matchups like the back of my hand. I am a very strong laner able to play off my ADC/Supp well.
Additionally, my macro game knowledge / shot calling is my greatest attribute as a player. I'm a student of the game and have worked as an analyst/blogger for multiple LCS teams. Futher, playing support will allow me to focus on the macro game.
And some of your weaknesses: In order to think about League on the Macro scale, you have to assume all micro is constant. As such, you have to assume micro play will be 100% correct. Aggressive early game macro play revolves around fast pushes and tower dives - dives, for example, are micro intensive. As a result, it is possible for me to put the team in disadvantageous position through their own micro errors, although the play call on the macro level was correct.
In the end, although my teammates were the ones making the micro errors, the responsibility falls on my shoulders, not theirs. As a dedicated shot caller, it is important to become familiar with your teammates to the point where you can see what they will do, and how they will do it, before you make the call. It is my job to ensure that my teammates are never in a bad position.
What do you want to acomplish with league: I wan't to never stop getting better. I have a dream of getting challenger, building my own brand, joining a semi pro team and eventually making it to the LCS. However, that is all out of my control.
I hear pros express the sentiment that they "want to be the best". I believe that is flawed logic. Instead, I want to get better. Every game I play i want to learn something, apply it to my next game, and improve. I will never lose my appetite to get better at the game. Throughout my journey, personal improvement is the only thing that I can control. The rest will fall into place.
