Starting New 5s Team! Bronze and Silver Welcome, But Semi-Serious

READ FULLY BEFORE APPLYING! - This team will be fairly demanding. It will probably include several hours of practice a day, as well as an hour or two of me reviewing gameplay. This will not be a standard ranked team where you join and just mess around. Please read fully so you know what you're applying to.

Hello, I am a Platinum 4 player, hopeful to climb to Diamond after season 6 begins. I am looking to make a ranked team. I may or may not play on the team (most likely off and on or as a sub), but for the most part, I will be coaching, organizing, and managing the team.

The goal of this team is to help lower elo players, specifically in Bronze and Silver, reach their fullest potential and improve at the game, both individually and as a team. We will be achieving this through dedicated and structured practice, as well as analysis and review of gameplay, and discussing everything from the fundamentals of strategy, to team compositions. If you are Platinum or above, you will not be considered. I'm not looking for players who think or do know better than me.

I put semi-serious in the title because we obviously won't be competing at a super high level. I mean, we're here to have fun at some level, this isn't going to be our job. However, this team is not for people who want to join and pick off-meta stuff, and mess around. We're going to have fun while learning about the game and smashing faces.

This team will require effort from you, the player. As of right now, my plan is to have practice every day of the week. Although, this could be subject to change. I also have thought about one on one practices (for example, 1v1ing the top laner and forcing him to farm under constant harass, etc). I may also think about actually doing a stream on one of those days, live streaming a review of a game, so we can talk about it. It may also be that they end up being duo-soloQ days. But for now, 5 days of practice a week, and we can work out the details. Over the weekend, I will be posting an analysis - or potentially 2-3 - on youtube that you should watch on your own time. I may also put together slideshows discussing various strategic ideas. Please note, this is going to be an hour or two of stuff to watch. It's a resource to help you improve. If you see it as a chore, it might not be in your best interest to join this team.

Practice will probably be around 3 hours long, we will see how it goes. I expect you to make it to a majority of practices on time, however if you're going to be late or can't make it, tell me ahead of time and it will be fine. If you are starting games just before practice, or you're consistently showing up late without warning, then I'll warn you a few times and you'll eventually be removed from the team. Other people's time is important, it's disrespectful to make them wait around. Be thoughtful, please make it on time. But, if you're late like once a week, that's probably fine.

On that note, we will take scrims with other teams seriously, be respectful, be nice. When we are playing a scrimmage or a ranked game, don't tell us about last night with your girlfriend or what you ate for dinner or how you got 1v1'd by Zed. When we are playing these games, we're going to take them seriously and try to keep the comms clear for crisp calls. If you don't like taking ranked games seriously, that's fine, there are plenty of teams for you out there, just not this one. In normal games you'll be free to talk and have fun, but we're still going to pick our roles and try to play well.
