LOOKING TO BUILD A LEAGUE OF LEGENDS TEAM (5V5)
So essentially I want to build a pro League of Legends Team from the ground up. I will eventually come up with a "Team Name", something that makes it easier to identify ourselves by but for now it'll just be "Team 5" (for easier communication). I will list what positions I need (but like I said its from the ground up, so ALL positions need to be filled), requirements to be accepted into the team (Nothing major, just small things), and what I expect to gain from all of this. > So TL:DR; I'm building a League Team, Need Players, Have Requirements, What I want to gain from this.
Positions Needed!
Top Lane - The back bone for a strong team is a solid top laner. I need somebody who is reliable in laning and map awareness/pressure._ An ideal top laner would be somebody who can check the map to see which lane or fight needs a teleport to swing things in favor for your allies. Also I want a top laner with exceptional CS-ing capabilities and focus for winning the laning phase. _
Jungler - Having a strong jungler is very important to any game. Whether it's providing vision for the team around the map while making your clears, contesting/setting up objectives, or realizing which lane needs a gank and how to approach it. An ideal Jungler for me is one who can make efficient clears of their jungle camps, can ward effectively, work with the team to be objective oriented, and provide ganks that benefit the team.
Middle Lane - Ah mid! Probably the lane that could have the biggest and most positive impact on the game. Winning mid lane is crucial for any League Of Legends team. For example(s), pro teams rely heavily on their mid laners to get them that juicy victory, teams such as TSM (Bjergsen), SKT T1 (Faker), and Samsung Galaxy (Crown), set up their mid laners for success and put a lot of pressure on them to perform at 110% every game. _SO with that being said, an ideal mid lane will need to have excellent CS-ing, map-awareness, knowing when to roam around the map so snowball the game, no problem winning lane, massive development of mechanics, and shot calling capabilities. _
ADC/Bottom - This one is my personal favorite. The ADC is responsible for steamrolling bot lane and carrying the game. ADC's need to be reliable in their play making decisions and their positioning in fights. I don't want any WildTurtl's out their trying to be a hero. Now, chances are that i would be the ADC of our team, but if you want to apply to be the ADC, feel free, it never hurts to have back ups. If you're better than me, you will obviously play while I sit the bench! _An ideal ADC for me has amazing CS-ing, impeccable map awareness, great positioning in team fights, knows how to orb-walk, can harass while staying safe, always has the highest or next highest overall damage in the game, can be relied to put the team on their back. _
Support - Supports have an incredible impact on the game, even though people don't give them credit. Supports are responsible for helping our great and almighty ADC win his lane, warding up a storm and making that mini map look pretty and full of light (and enemies), and shot calling for peels. Supports should have a decent understanding of when to roam and make plays around the map and in general "support" the team. Be our cheerleader if you have too, positive vibes are always the best._ An ideal support will have superb knowledge of warding and laning phase, and how to peel/kite back for their members._
> Requirements
Now I really don't have a huge list of requirements that you must uphold, try to stick with them though as they do help me to decide who to pick and chose for lanes and my team. So they go as follows..
-
Must have some sort of voice communication ( I prefer discord, its free and pretty simple to understand, so if you don't have it, get it )
-
Must have a solid understanding of the game ( Decent amount of time logged into League and know how the game works and what champions do what)
-
I want people who are Gold or Higher, I really don't care about putting Golds with Diamonds, or Masters with Plats, individual play is strictly individual and its about what the team can do. ( I say Gold, but if you are silver and somehow stuck in elo hell, try out if you want, like I said if you are good you can be on the team. Just no bronze please. )
-
Have a solid attitude ( Games are lost because people can't keep a level head. So keep calm and just play the game, we will lose games, that just how games work. If you rage, harass other players, are negative from play to play, or quit a game, you are off the team! No Exceptions.)
> What I plan to gain from this experience
I simply plan to gain knowledge and experience most from this. I want to create a well rounded team that can get along and stomp the competition. I want to help people learn more from the game and apply that to their own game and develop from it. Another thing that can be gained from this is friendship, and that's what really matters in life, is friends. Also, keep an open mind, who knows where this team with go and what it can bring for you. If we get to a high rank professional teams look at players, if you stand out you can potentially be recruited.
> A final point I'd like to make. If for some reason things aren't working out with a certain player, I, the manager and owner, can call a meeting of players to discuss what the options are. If it's not working out for a certain player we can kick you from the team and find somebody else. So definitely bring your A game to every practice, game, scrim, etc. And I won't exclude myself, if I'm performing badly i will get a replacement for myself AS A PLAYER. Nobody is taking my place as an owner.
So if you are interested go ahead and add me on League of Legends - "Hinada" From there we can talk through voice comms, and get some try outs ready for you. Once we have a team of 5, we can begin with practice for a few days and them move to 5v5 ranked.
Good Luck and I hope to see some great things come from this!
